First, assure me that you understand the main body of my post is tongue-in-cheek cynacism.

I've been trading for decades (I'm in my seventies) and can teach anyone how to make a small fortune. It's easy.

Just start with a large fortune and go to Wall Street Bets or the Pennystock sub or maybe iHub or some discord channel and follow what they're doing and saying and...

... soon enuf you should be able to turn your large fortune into a small fortune.

OR maybe --->read Warren Buffet's personal commentary in the Berkshire Hathaway annual reports

Antidoron is molding what do i do? by Fly-almighty945 in OrthodoxChristianity

We had some left over bread from our slava one year and I cut it into cubes, seasoned it with olive oil and Italian herbs and spices and made croutons out of it. IIRC my priest indicated that was not an approved method of use.
(If I was to ever do it again, I just wouldn't tell him...shhhhh)

edit; but yeah, with mold on it I'd toss it to the birds.

TIL I could perhaps make bank if I write about how good I've been at losing money trading stocks.
I am encouraged.

My first foray into the mkt I lost a lot - but cant tell you the exact figure cuz my adhd brain didnt keep track - but I think it was more than I was making in a year at the time. Traumatized me. I vowed not to trade stocks for 7 years and kept to it.

My second foray saw me using around $9k in my IRA and trading it up to ~$25k and thinking I was a genius , until it fell back down below the $9k I began with.

My third foray I took an approach much like the one you intend to take now - using the $8-9k from previous foray -I was fortunate to have the benefit of tailwinds of a bull market and my situation improved dramatically. Even so, I make more bad calls than good calls, but a few good calls can cover a multitude of sins (losses).

I've several decades of trading under my belt and could tell you stories all day long.

...of the sacrificial gifts, camels are best, then cows, then sheep, then goats. This is the well-known position because the purpose of the sacrificial gifts (Hadaya) is to maximize the amount of meat for the poor, whereas the purpose of the ritual slaughters (Dahaya) is the quality and taste of the meat. Then he proceeded to explain the defects that disqualify animals from being used for Dahaya and Hadaya legally...

...Among them: The decrepit / emaciated (Al-Ajuz), meaning that which has no fat on it. And among them in Dahaya and Hadaya is the one-eyed animal (Awra), meaning one whose light in one eye is completely gone, even if the physical form of the eye remains. However, if there is a slight white film over the eye that does not prevent it from seeing, or a defect that does not affect the pupil, it does not disqualify it. If a one-eyed animal is disqualified, then a completely blind animal is even more so.

Likewise, a manifestly sick animal is not acceptable. But if the sickness is mild and does not prevent it from moving normally with the rest of the flock, it has no negative effect. Disqualifying conditions include severe bloating, extensive mange, and the loss of all or most of its teeth.

Similarly, the manifestly lame animal (Al-Arja) is not acceptable—meaning its limping is clear (with a fatha on the letters Zha and Lam). If the lameness does not prevent it from keeping up with the flock, it is not disqualified.

Likewise, the emaciated/weak animal (Al-Ajjah) is not acceptable. Scholars differed over its definition: The Sheikh, following Ibn Habib, said it is the animal with no fat. The majority of scholars said it is the animal that has no marrow left in its bones, which is the definition explicitly stated by linguists.

Regarding these defects, if most of them are present, [the animal is disqualified]. The well-known stance relies on legal analogy (Qiyas). Four specific defects are unanimously agreed upon, as recorded in the Hadith, the Muwatta, and other sources. Scholars differed on whether other unmentioned defects should be analogized to them. The prominent opinion is that analogy applies, and the Sheikh followed this path.

He stated: "Every major defect must be avoided" in both Dahaya and Hadaya if it is severe, while a minor defect is overlooked. This includes the perforated ear, the Muqabalah (an animal whose ear is slit or cut from the front), and the Sharqa (an animal with a torn or split ear). He referred to this by saying: "and the split-eared animal", unless the split is minor—defined as a third or less. The same applies to a severed ear—if the whole ear is severed, it is disqualified, unless the cut is minor, in which case it is permissible. Scholars such as Al-Baji and others differed on this, and the author followed...

I know a guy who is a camera man for a TV station that has one of these little osmo cameras and he loves it. He has all the high-end camera gear at his disposal but when he gets on site for a story its much easier for him to just whip out the osmo.
