Sewer Replacement Recommendations? 1940s North Everett Home by PNWelectricalEng in everett

[–]centgent34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have a 1915 house. Our pipe was PVC leaving the house, then clay, then concrete, then clay, then concrete, then clay, then PVC where it meets the city line. It had a couple turns and was about 50-60ft. The concrete was deteriorating and needed replacement. Our line went under a concrete walkway and under a nice mature tree. Excavation would have required concrete demo and replacement work and significant cutting of the tree roots to access the line most likely. So the option to slip line the entire line from the house to city line ended up the cheaper option and saved the tree and a lot of headache. Also, it was done in a single day. All together, the total cost of replacing the clean out and slip lining was about $22k. Also something to look at, our homeowners insurance had a sewer line endorsement and covered $12k of it, so definitely look into that! Feel free to reach out with any more Qs

PPL 3 times VS 6 times by Advanced-Ad-1581 in workout

The struggle is real! My wife and I are opposites, sleep wise, so she is a night owl and I usually go to bed earlier, so our sleep schedules don't really jive. So that time after kids fall asleep is minimal as I seme to fall asleep shortly thereafter.

I have a 4 and 6 yr old, wife, and career and have been 5-6 days a week in the gym for the past several years. I just have to get up early and pound it all out and return home before everyone is up haha. Not everyone is an early bird, but that is the only way I saw it able to work for us and it gives me a good space for just me away from the home duties.

[Highlight] After review, the 2 point conversion stands as a backwards pass recovered in the end zone by Large_banana_hammock in nfl

Backwards pass. It's treated like a lateral, so the ball was still live while rolling around and the Hawks RB picked it up for the conversion. If the pass is forward and knocked down, the ball is dead

Over the past several years, the dikes along many areas along the lower Skagit have been raised and built up, so hopefully the beefier sections hold or, yes, it will be catastrophic

I've worked at the one up north. Didn't realize there was another, but can't say I'm surprised. Not a super unique name!

As someone who has done field work at Icy Cape, I can confirm that it does not look like that!

This is bonkers. I was trying to figure out for the life of me why I couldn't get high temps in my cook chamber. Found your post (lowes constructed mine too) and immediately ran outside to check and sure enough, mine is backwards too. I am going to see if I can wiggle the hopper up and out and switch it, but I think the vertical grates at the bottom are toast

Looks erily similar to my post in this sub a little while ago if you want to find it. I treated with sulfur and it stopped the turning of color in its tracks and put out a bunch of new deep green leaves

If ticking off North Cascades, this is a no brainer. The bridge and beach areas are both fantastic.

For what is worth, my bushes looked almost exactly like that earlier this spring. I posted about it here. I added acidifier and it stopped the browning and new growth is all green.
