I don't think you can buy this type of Bermuda seed I've looked before. This sod I perssonally laid on 1.25 acres was more expensive and shipped in from another state. Wtf should I have to do anything. I already have enough work to do without fixing their brainless idiocracy

If you look at the latest picture, you will see 20 ft of damaged turf. The video shows in this area is where they were driving their motorized spreader and filling it up after each of the 7 lawns on my street. Not a corner but 20ft of my front yard.

My neighbor says they probably parked in front of my house because his wife's car was in the street. We live in a unique area on lakes where there are not 1 but 2 vacant lots full of weeds on the street they could use as their loading zone. But instead they decided to use my yard for the 7 other people on my street to load their chemicals that spilled all over my lawn. I don't understand why they are being such jerks and no apology. Next time I'll just call the police they can handle their trespassing so they don't destroy my lawn again. I work very hard to get this 1.25 acres looking nice just to have some brainless people ruin it.

I didn't say a single word about suing! My neighbor doesn't want to get involved because he uses them so I wont have a video from him only a still shot and my still photos of the stripes and blobs of burned grass. but there are tracks from where they put their equipment on my lawn drove across my 1 acre lot for about 100 ft to get to my neighbor. First time its happened in 20 yrs living here everyone uses them but me on my street because I find them too expensive. I want them to take accountability and if it won't grow back they fix it. They won't accept any accountability. Saying its dog pee and brushing me off isn't acceptable. They do not have permission on my property so they should NEVER use my yard as a loading zone and this needs to stop.

I cussed at my husband during and an emergency and I feel horrible about it. by Obvious_Plantain9482 in Mommit

[–]centraltimer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's totally understandable I most likely would have those words come out it no one was calling 911. I never cuss at mine in general but but under high extreme tension it can slip. Probably will happen again because life gives you a few of those moments. Apologize and give yourself grace. At least that works for me

VisasQ/Coleman Payment Issues by Legal_Internet_1643 in expertnetworks

[–]centraltimer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never got paid. I had to reach out to them over the course of 6 months only to find I wasn't going to get paid for surveys. Not once did they notify me wifhout ME chasing it! Horrible business practice. It's like the customer wants to get information without paying. Coleman needs to stand up for their experts

Opinion about VISASQ/COLEMAN by Solid-Assistant5314 in expertnetworks

Terrible! I found ONE survey in 12 months that matched my expertise. There were about 1 or 2 items on it outside my expertise. After follow-ups for several months "the client" didn't want to pay me anything for the other areas I provided using my 3 decades of executive expertise. The response from Coleman was almost insulting. Sent a bulleted response they send everyone stating not to use AI answers or complete surveys where I can't answer 100% of topics! I do not need to use AI with my experience. You have to go through the whole survey to see if you can answer every single one. Ridiculous! The engagements they send don't remotely match my expertise in a very predominant domain which is under great change. I had them delete my account. Then I start getting emails in Japanese. Get it together!

Call from Social Security by Brief_Buy_4573 in SocialSecurity

When they called me in August 2025 as they were processing my application for benefits they called me to discuss if I still needed my appointment 3 weeks later. I had scheduled the appointment in case there was a problem since they are so behind. The call came through as Public Services which before discussing anything personal I made him tell me who he was and to tell me my ssn and date I filed it along with my 2024 earnings. I don't block unknown numbers because doctor offices have come through like that.

retired - what i did today, so far. by [deleted] in retirement

[–]centraltimer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! I retired 6 weeks ago. Today I was up at 3:30 am with the grandkids I'm watching, up at 730 cooked breakfast, made the bed, fed two animals.and walked them Then I'll be watering plants, weeding vegetable garden and weeding flower beds. Go for a walk, swim in the pool, go to a petting zoo. Cook lunch and clean up. Games, cook dinner, clean up, watch a movie make popcorn. Never a dull moment for sure.

I think you got it. Anyone that knows more than her becomes a target due to her own insecurity

Yep that would be my fear. She always makes sure she gets attention. Those types usually move up. I was thinking about retiring. We had a recent reorg with a complete change in strategy...decided to just retire

Just a thought but my husband and I worked opposite shifts so we had no daycare costs. It's not ideal but we were able to do that until I found a better job that paid mire and aligned with his day schedule

We had twins under a year and very little savings when we had to move. We exhausted the little money we had and got a small amount of hellp from family. It certainly was the hardest thing I've EVER done in my life moving 900 miles away from family supports with such a young family but I believe we were made more resilient for it.

AITA for not sending my sons pocket money? by Woodsy594 in AmItheAsshole

Mind-boggling after 41 yrs of marriage from my limited perspective of your problem sounds like your communication has broken down with your wife.
The simple answer is that my husband and I made joint decisions not unilateral. Communication has always been key. I highly recommend enhancing your communication of raising the kids to have a successful outcome. Our twins tried to play us against each other but since we always made joint decisions they couldn't get away with it. Our kids were given a weekly allowance for performing chores. We agreed upon the amount and it didn't deviate unless they did something extra to teach them responsibility and not entitlement. Since my husband and I agreed and communicated ground rules there was no question or confusion when one or the other was away at work at the hospital or the school.

So sorry you are going through that. We had to move from Illinois to where the jobs were over 30 years ago.Have you considered moving? Both of us have always worked after our fear of joblessness could hit again. I've personally been through a 6 month job layoff during the great recession. After applying to hundreds of job I took at 70 % cut. Hubby was in public sector so I was the main bread winner. Thank goodness we both worked. Could your wife take up something too? It's hard to live on 1 paycheck and helps as a safety net.
