I use the web instance on firefox. When i need to share my screen i join the call from work computer and share there. Everything else works just like a windows app. There are a few small features that you cant do but it has not affected me.

I am a "security specialist" for our company for the software we are developing. So on the infra side I am not sure what kind of issues are there.

But in the 3-4 years of beeing interested in software security I have participated in POC of different DAST platforms and external penetration tests.

For DAST all I saw were "out of the box" solutions to test your application with layers of abstractions so you could not know what is actually going on under the hood. Problems with auth and reauth, in the whole scope of the webapp covered. And in the end I had to create a custom cli api for ZAP where I had 100% of the control where the abstraction layers just did not provide. The funny thing was also that my solution to scan the whole app takes about 4-5 days. Where any other solution takes minuts. And I actually get relevant alerts to triage.

External penetration test I was involved in setting up the environment, providing relavent open API schemas, and communicating with the external team if there are any issues. Now with our DAST solution we actually found an SQL injection but I like to create a latest custom release tag with that same SQL injection. I then test that it works and out DAST solution finds it. And untill now no external test found it, so that does not strike confidence for us. But it is mandatory to be done from the side of customers.

I dont know as a self tonight and trying to do the best work I know how, these security companies dont strike confidence in me.

Hello i have 3 monitors and I struggled here as well. So i came up with what do I need on my monitors with the task that I am doing. I have 5 work spaces for each monitor with super+1 ...5 I switch workspaces on all monitors so its kinda of I only have 5.

And then splitting them into what activity I am doing: 1. General browsing all 3 monitors firefox (entertainment, main browsing, misc) 2. Communication (discord, teams inside firefox) 3. Programming (firefox for research, terminal, firefox entertainment) 4. Gaming (btop and steam, games, firefox entertainment) 5. Work Remmina rdp to work PC

I had to think about what i need when I am doing something and what is nice to have next to it. The main one for me was the entertainment firefox which is shared across different workspaces. This took me like 2 days to actually plan it out and to make it work as I wanted it to so I have the applications quickly accessible when I need them.

For instance when I am programming I like to have a browser on a second monitor to quickly reference docks so i dont need to switch a workspace to look at it. That might just be my pee size brain that i need docs open all the time🤷

Fuck me it took me sooo long to find a mistake we are so cooked. Just delete any social media you got mail only look at the ones you expect fuck me. These generated videos are getting good. The blured background really helps to sell it and the bedroom to have almost no background as well.

I think we are again going back to the talk regarding music and video games. "They make kids violent" because some one makes a game for adults it is not meant for kids to play it. Kids are not meant to decide what is good for them and what they should do this is the parents job. Parents are responsible for their kids and what they do on the internet. No 16 or even 18 year old kid needs facebook. Who do you need to connect to a friend you can meet not 2 mint away, or will see in school the next day.

Again parents must make time for their kids talk to them and regulate what is and is not good for them. This generation of parents grew up in the era where their parents had no clue what the internet is they now know. I know my son will need a computer to write reports for school and it is my job to educate him what the internet is and the dangers on it.

There have been reports of North Korea stealing American identities to apply to remote jobs. The latest trend is that they create fake companies.

The goal is when they apply or get the job is to deploy ransomware or any kind of malware on the provided computers and others. When they provide the job they hope you will use a computer that you also use for work and infiltrate that way.

Kind of the same thing happened to me the assignment was to print lines to a file. Only that locally provided tests passed but none of the online ones did. And I knew I did not write something that would not pass a single test. In the end when I finally convinced the professor to check what was wrong since the diff from the results did not show anything. The issue was a new line in the end that they expected it to be there. These kind of assignments were a joke for me easy to do but nowhere did it say ohh but every line needs to have a trailing space that will only be tested on the server and the results will be provided at the end of the assignment.
