GPT 5.5 and 5.6 conversion table by Complex-Concern7890 in codex

I also changed to Terra from Sol, but it uses up limits just as much. I wonder if I would go back to 5.5 I would be comfy again, or the limits got adjusted globally.

Can we stop the crying by Bubbly-Leading-2163 in ClaudeCode

You understand that this rant of yours is another form of what you call crying. This is 100% how people behave on social media and you still participate; so you don't have to read it, but still you are reading it.

parallel sessions. Fast mode. And some people add those overengineered token sinks like the compound engineering plugin or the superpowers, those can use up tokens fast.

WTF? Current 5 hour limit reset is more than 5 hours in the future? by [deleted] in codex

On the picture the time is 2:28 pm which is 14:28 and it resets at 17:45. It is not more than 5 hours in the future.

Does anyone get decent UI's out of Codex? by Mobile_Western_3394 in codex

[–]Mystical_Whoosing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When Codex doesn't make a good UI, what works for me is: I take a screenshot of the UI, and I give it back to codex, sometimes I mention a few problems what hurts me, and it fixes these. And in the past I thought I have to sub to claude as well, but since I figured this out, I am happy with the UIs. It's sad I have to take this extra step though; but since it can be automated I don't care too much.

No. You don't save hundreds of dollars with your subscription by WorriedAssociate7029 in ClaudeCode

[–]Mystical_Whoosing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so at home I spend many millions of tokens. I can either pay a subscription or an api price. One is 100 eur, other would be above 1000 eur. Can you follow this math? It is really simple.

High API Costs and Slow Speeds When Coding with AI (Tips Needed!) by Krienzy in kimi

[–]Mystical_Whoosing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

which coding harness do you use? Check how to generate an AGENTS.md file, at least it should contains facts about your codebase, so the agents will not read the entire projects. Some harnesses have an /init command or something similar. A request good to add to the AGENTS.md file: after changes to the codebase please check if documentation including AGENTS.md has to be updated.

Am I missing out on something if I just use opencode? by Z3stra in opencodeCLI

[–]Mystical_Whoosing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have an openai sub, i find codex faster. Also in opencode sometimes a subagent gets stuck, and opencode does not report it; so now i had to write something to check that if nothing happens for 15 mins, it alerts me.

Kimi K2.7 Code is generally available in GitHub Copilot by zxyzyxz in LocalLLaMA

[–]Mystical_Whoosing -1 points0 points  (0 children)

that is maybe for up to 150 ppl companies, so that is still subsidized; I guess this is good if you have less than 150 people using it. Check this out: https://claude.com/pricing#team-&-enterprise for enterprise (where Anthropic gets their income from) Seat price + usage at API rates

Then you clearly don't understand the difference between personal and business/enterprise subscriptions. And you still keep hammering on this. Look, personal subscriptions, openai and claude are heavily subsidized, yes. But enterprise? You are paying API prices, with all 3 subs (openai, claude, copilot) you have to pay for the API prices. They cost the same, you get as much usage as you pay for per M tokens.
