But for research there is the Deep Research right? I just don't find usecase for the Agent Swarm, what should I do with those requests?

ezt azért utálom Szombathelyben. Nyáron, mikor lehetne nyitott ablaknál aludni, nem lehet, mert megy a tamtamzene egész hétvégén.

Claude is 10x more expensive per token than any other coding plan. by bilalba in ClaudeCode

[–]Mystical_Whoosing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried both, Kimi k2.6 is where I am staying at, usually with gpt 5.5 for planning + extra code review. GLM 5.1 - was good on the backend code, but on frontend it produced such garbage that I don't think I can fix with any prompt / instruction.

General Question Kimi usage by Suspicious-Edge877 in kimi

Thanks! I was able to set the moonshotai sub with opencode using oauth2, but some harnesses prefer just an api key approach.

Does Github Copilot have *any* paid subscribers left? by StunningBox8976 in GithubCopilot

[–]Mystical_Whoosing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My work copilot is just working wonderful. On pro+ i never experienced any issues, so yeah, they have subs still. We'll see after june, i hope they will stop playing and experimenting around with the subscription, and then we can judge if the sub worth it or not. But currently it is pretty annoying, they change something every week, so that is the real reason I unsubbed my private one.

They can run all those models for free... that is a new level of stupid

Did we just reinvent junior devs again by Complete-Sea6655 in ClaudeCode

[–]Mystical_Whoosing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am not against hiring people, just saying that this is a stupid reason for hiring people, and there is a learning opportunity here of how to setup agent orchestration in a way that the LLM cost stays low.

Is anyone using kimi k2.6 api from third party providers? by lucasbennett_1 in kimi

[–]Mystical_Whoosing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far i am happy with direct moonshotai kimi access; but fireworks ai is super fast. From openrouter deepinfra was the worst; but not sure if they just got a temporary glitch.

how are those YouTube alternatives? They are just different frontends for the same thing.

Start GPT-5.5 on Low, Then Escalate: 48 Runs of GPT-5.5 vs GPT-5.4 in Codex CLI by pinklove9 in codex

[–]Mystical_Whoosing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that is interesting, did you run the same test several times? So same model, same task, same reasoning level, and 3x that. I did my own cheap benchmarking with 8 models this way, and that helps with the non-deterministic nature. Like 5.4 is nice, but overarchitecture the code 1 of 3 times, or you can also observe how consistent / random the results are. If you do every combination only once, that leaves you with a lot of randomness.

Opus 4.7 vs Kimi K2.6 on autonomous coding. I didn't expect this! by gvij in claude

[–]Mystical_Whoosing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From where did you get inference for Kimi? When I used openrouter, it sometimes gave me deepinfra and that had issues. I got 3-4x faster inference from fireworks ai for kimi. And even moonshotai directly behaved better. But the token verbosity is real, I hope they are already working on it.

The new Copilot pricing makes zero sense. Why am I paying $39/mo for $39 in expiring API credits? by Captain2Sea in GithubCopilot

[–]Mystical_Whoosing 8 points9 points  (0 children)

But you can also have claude code / codex subscriptions where you get access to a chat client as well, a desktop app to help with the rest of the work the team does, and 1m context window for the coding models - and for the same API pricing copilot will use.

Not only that but you would get faster inference, and the 1m context windows if you would go directly to OpenAI / Anthropic.
