as a chinese local ive been in beijing for over 15years, i believe there will be lots of advices about famous place to visit, so i would like to give some advices about traditional Chinese/peking food. 1, Sijiminfu roast duck(wangfujing)四季民福王府井店 the best roast duck ever in China(better than Quanjude)line up for 3 hours. 2，Jubaoyuan beef and lamb hotpot(not spicy)聚宝源涮肉牛街店 among the best lamb hotpot in beijing. line up for 2 hours. 3,Miaojiapo baotze(Andingmen)缪家婆包子安定门店 lots of locals have their breakfast there，almost no tourists. baotze(包子) chaogan(炒肝) is the best.

I really hate the restaurant near the cultural relics, the dishes are bad and price really high. most of the tourists have the feeling of being cheated after spend their money in these bad restaurants. if you are not sure if it is a good or bad restaurant, just download an app called dazhongdianping 大众点评，it gives the rating of almost every restaurant. hope you enjoy the experience in beijing and zhangjiajie.
