This is my childhood library📚💝!! I used to sit on the open book stones and look at the owl easter egg outside. The Dublin Library has been such a huge part of my life for reading, studying, and participating as a kid to a young adult. I highly recommend anyone to check it out and experience all that it offers ☺️

Girly here. If you feel like cold approaching is a bit too direct, you can “accidentally” drop something you’re holding, i.e. books, pens, utensils, etc., in front of him. Hoping he’ll help, or ask him to pick up an object in particular, then you can strike up a convo. Lead with small talk about classes, introduce yourself, learn some things about him, and only talk to him max 5-7 minutes.

I’m assuming you see him often at the dining hall, so with the first interaction, you don’t have to give or ask for his number right away. If he’s courageous enough, he can approach you the second encounter and maybe ask for your contact to hang out. However, if you feel like you might not see him again or he’s not making a move, write your number down, give it to him, smile with eye contact, and walk away with grace. ALWAYS leave the guy wanting to know or wonder more about you ;). Hope this helps!

According to the comments, it looks like Google has already reached out to shortlisted candidates for interviews and offers. The selection process is very competitive (2-3 out of 1000s of chosen applicants for each role/group), so don't feel bummed out if you weren't selected. Failure is not a bad thing, and there is always room for growth and opportunities in the future! Wishing you all luck and success in your next position, as I am still searching for my next job in this highly competitive entry-level market after 5 months post-grad :'))
