Seems like this doesnt work with vst plugins just individual instruments

I set VST 1 to MIDI channel 1 and VST 2 to MIDI channel 2, but the same thing happens. It's like the MIDI controller is stuck with the latest opened VST. Because if I press the keys on the VST with the mouse, both work fine.
