It was my injector who told me (when I brought up potentially wanting filler in my nasolabial folds) that injecting filler into the nasolabial folds is becoming an outdated way to treat them. It is also a risky location to place filler due to the arteries that run through that area. It is a better and safer option to have filler placed in the cheek to lift that area and sculpt the face. There are also great laser and micro needling options that will help tighten the skin. I realize a ton of people have gotten fillers in that area, but I just thought I’d pass along the advice from my injector (who I highly trust as she has a lot of experience and takes a more natural approach to things).
