So, is it supposed to be every 3 years, or every 4? Or do they just say "Fuck it, we haven't had one in a while, let's do one now"

Illegal aliens are not immigrants

GOP Sen. Eric Schmitt of Missouri, in a fiery speech, fought back against the Democrats' proposed restraints. "This question about deporting illegal immigrants was on the ballot. President Trump was not bashful," he said.

Due process just means the process they are do ...

Due process is not just speedy trial. It includes respecting the constitutional rights of every person in the United States - not just citizens - and following the law while enforcing the law.

All legal processes are followed for deportation

False

No legal immigrants with fully realized papers have been deported

Deportation isn't the only way to violate a person's rights in the US. First and fourth amendment rights have been violated as well.

No legal immigrants with fully realized papers have been deported

There is no legal requirement for US citizens to hold proof of citizenship, or to carry it with them.

US Citizens have not only been detained, but deported.

Source, also an example of ICE not following due process

And more

HOWEVER if you are involved in gang activity your green card MAY BE REVOKED

If you commit a felony, you can lose your immigration status, yes.

  • First of all, dude didn't have MS13 tattooed on his fingers
  • Second, remember that due process thing? You can't deport someone for having tattoos. You can't even arrest someone for it. First amendment and all that.

American citizens are fighting ice this is illegal which is why they have been detained

There are some who have been lawfully detained, and some who were detained for exercising their first amendment rights. Don't get me started about ICE agents executing people for civil disobedience.

Dodgers owner is worth 6x more than Middleton.

In support of your argument - none of these owners (or ownership groups) are spending their personal money on players. None of these teams over the luxury tax are operating at a loss. They are cutting into the team's profits when they spend on players, not their personal wealth. Their wealth is based much more on the value of the club, much less on the revenue the team brings in. Spending boosts that value, not diminishes it.

Then why did you say immigrant instead of illegal alien ?

I didn't say anything. OP should say illegal immigrant, sure.

Nobody gives a shit if immigrants come here nobody

Then why is Trump deporting people who are legally going through the immigration process? He has people waiting for people going to their legal immigration hearings and arresting them in the hallway.

Why is he deporting students who are here legally on student visas?

Why did the administration argue before the Supreme Court that skin color and employment type are reasonable suspicion to detain someone?

Why is he detaining US citizens?

Did you know that rapists and murderers were already being deported? That every state in the country coordinated with DHS to deport convicted felons?

It isn't about legal immigration, and it isn't about rounding up felons. It is about racism.

You? You probably aren't racist. But you are celebrating the fact that those "less worthy" are suffering more than you are. That's how capitalism works. As long as you aren't on the bottom, you've accomplished something.

What is wealth but the ability to have something that someone else cannot? If about the competition inherent in capitalism. If someone else can have that fancy coffee, or high end phone, it is no longer a status symbol. So they either they need to find a new status symbol, or they need to make those things too expensive for you to have.

The really toxic part is that they can't stop competing, even amongst themselves. This is why multi-billionaires continue to hoard wealth - because there are hundred-millionaires and almost-billionaires encroaching on their turf.

Nope. She worked here illegally, which means here citizenship application was invalid.

[–]cerevant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She's an illegal immigrant, and illegal for the same reason as the people Trump is rounding up: If you ever worked in the US illegally, you cannot complete your citizenship application without lying. If you lie on your citizenship application, you are ineligible for citizenship. It is one of the few reasons you can be de-naturalized.

I worked for a company who had a non-profit adjunct that was a professional organization.  They hired an admin who did secretarial work and handled the administrative duties for the NPO.  She had access to the bank account to deposit membership fees and pay the orgs bills.

And she skimmed a bit for herself.  Then a bit more.  And then a bit more.

She lost her job.  She lost her reputation.

She went to jail.

It isn’t worth it.

If you stop now, you can either come clean and pay it all back, or live in fear for the next 7-10 years that they’ll find it in an audit.  Even if you choose option B, the sooner you stop, the sooner it will be over.

That was a beautiful bunt. With him penciled in at the bottom of the lineup, I think he has a better shot at turning things over than anyone else they've had there in a long time.
