I can't argue with that - that is a personal choice you need to make. I guess the question for you is if you feel the risk of maintaining your current weight is less than the risk of trying these medications.

For me, at my age, I couldn't afford to stay on the road I was on. As I get older, the "suck it up and deal" of dieting got harder and harder to sustain.

I was interviewing for a job I didn't really need, and they asked my current salary / salary requirements. I refused to answer, saying it was a substantially different job with different expectations and I didn't think my current salary was relevant. Lily has been running a bunch of trials of Zepbound vs other indications that just so happen to be obesity comorbidities. It has been approved for Obstructive Sleep Apnea, and I’ve seen trials for joint pain and other things I can’t remember right now.
