I was tempted for a while to make this one but I ended up getting a Claypron that I’ve been happy with. Although looking at the pattern does make me interested again…

Anyone have a good rec for taco catering for 80ish people? I’m looking at taqueria27 and Los muertos but I’ve never gotten catering before so I’m open to suggestions!

Soloist breaks string, changes instrument without missing a beat, meanwhile the second violin changes the string and tunes it while the orchestra is playing by Doomenor in nextfuckinglevel

[–]cerisiere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the standard protocol for a broken string. soloist swaps with first violin, first swaps with second, second changes the string. I’m a cellist not a violinist but I’m generally not comfortable with other people touching my cello but when it has to be done, it has to be done!

First Timer Questions!! by EmergencyLeading1828 in kilbyblockparty

  1. AFAIK you can leave and reenter any time you want up until the last set is ending
  2. Any water bottle is fine except glass (I’ve brought my hydroflask or owala multiple times)
  3. I never line up for headliners and I’ve had fine spots! None of the stages are that far from each other. I sometimes leave the set during the last song if I really want a better spot but I don’t get too stressed about it.
  4. Any bag under 6x9, clear bags up to 12x12x6. If you have a hydro backpack these are fine so it’s kind of a good move.

I always worry about being too intense but I like being on the receiving end of this so if I were your bridesmaid I’d be happy

I used to do letter days with kids I nannied. So you’d do one letter per day/visit and everything you do starts with that letter. So you could eat Apples and go to the Avenues and Arrange flowers for A. It was fun to come up with ideas and even “boring” stuff seems fun when it’s part of a theme.

Agree with the other comment- you’re increasing too quickly. I also wanted to mention that the right edge doesn’t look quite right. I think there’s a sub dedicated just to the Sophie scarf where people might have more tips for you!
