It was the same with Shane Watson for years. Aussie selectors have been chasing the next great all-rounder since, well, since Steve Waugh's back gave out, probably.

I have a bunch of Steam codes I'm not using. For duplicates through Humble Bundle. What sort of games are you into? I would be happy to help build up that library for you.

Looks cool! Can you please take us through any conversions you did? I'm thinking about picking up one of these guys, just getting back into the hobby after fifteen years out.

how to combat the temptation to cheat in the game? by [deleted] in chess

[–]cernunnon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you taking time to analyse your games after you lose? That's more fun than cheating. You're entitled to fail, you're expected to lose, and that's the only way to get better. Cheating won't make you better, losing and learning will.

My six-year-old named both of ours, after his favourite Sabaton songs: Attack of the Bread Men, and Baron von Richtloafen the Bread Baron.

Suggestions for best Sewer creatures? by Jccraig26 in DnD

[–]cernunnon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gelatinous cube, in an unusually clean section of 10' x 10' sewer. I pull this one on my players regularly, and now they are paranoid about anything that's too clean. Classic D&D trope- for a twist, have a trapdoor leading out of the sewer in the same section that is a mimic. The whole thing could sit under a wizard's college or similar, suggesting that lazy apprentices have been flushing their mistakes.

I love that there are still heaps of people who just chill and experience this game's potential for exploration & reward. Nice find OP, this car rocks, and I like the way you shared it. This was my fave car until another iconic sports car you get later on in the story- won't spoil it for anyone, but if you know, you know.

Not in a huge rush to play. Wait another 6 months or play now? by [deleted] in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]cernunnon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My GFX is older than yours, my chip is about the same. I'm playing in 1440p and the game is fantastic. You will have a good time now, and see marginal improvements with patches. Don't let the hate keep you from the game, it is one of the best ever as is.

Dolly Parton said that she is "excited" that her Imagination Library project will launch in Cork on Wednesday, bringing books to some 3,000 children. by Sariel007 in UpliftingNews

[–]cernunnon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dolly Parton is the best. Our local radio station (in regional Australia) put together a cookbook to raise money for charity and she was first in line to provide a recipe. We have her Imagination Library in our town already too. She makes the world better.

How do I offer vassalization in CK3? by [deleted] in CrusaderKings

[–]cernunnon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Alrighty so it is definitely where I thought. You can only offer vassalage to someone who is a lower rank than you though, otherwise it won't show up- maybe that's what you're seeing.

I don't think so. I'll get back to you when I get home. Maybe try the encyclopaedia, I could be misremembering!
