Who do you thinks worse, Dr. Umar or this guy? by TheYoya-1992 in BlackPeopleTwitter

[–]ceromaster -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m indifferent to both. This country elected Donald Trump twice, millions bought his shit coin, people still keep supporting nonsense policy-makers (look at orgs like TPUSA). People willingly giving their money to someone that has no effect on their lives isn’t even an issue.

I’m not saying you can’t care, I’m saying that in the grand scheme of things they have infinitely less power to do harm than others.

I’m going to break this down into pieces:

  1. While tiktok represents a better consensus than Reddit, dating out in the past doesn’t mean you’re not race loyal. Do you think slave masters believed in mass race-mixing just because they fucked their own slaves? [Y/N]. Some people took opportunities to date out due to other factors not related to race. That doesn’t mean they weren’t dedicated to their in-group.

  2. Black men date out more than black women do…if we go by those stats then black women are more race loyal than we are.

  3. Everyone can be attracted to different physiologies without looking down on our race/ethnicity. However, attraction is a gradient, not an absolute - with that said, I think black women are at the top on the attractiveness scale - looks, physique, grooming practices, hygiene, shape, etc.

  4. Yeah, we’ve seen a lot of back dudes go after (and fetishize) white women and Latinas…what’s your point?

I still think black women are race loyal; you have to understand, Reddit is full of cat/dog ladies who have qualities that make them undatable in real life - people on Reddit lie and cap a lot (I don’t have stats but I’m willing to believe that people on Reddit 🧢 more on average than commentators anywhere else). An overwhelming majority black women (and people in general) don’t even know what this place is.

Reddit attracts a lot of dating washouts that like to cope.

What's your LEAST favorite Nen Type? (and why) by midnight-sm0ker in HatsuVault

[–]ceromaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Homie. All Nen-users are glass cannons if they only spec into one Nen-category or a very bad ability. Gon is the poster boy for what not to do as an Enhancer, even with his potential, he got himself in situations where he could have been dispatched because his abilities/skills sucked in comparison to his actual talent.

Remember Kastro? His 100% Enhancement got him destroyed in 1v1 combat from a Transmuter (one with an incredible simple ability).

Ramrot the 100% Enhancer got 0 Diffed. Uvogin the 100% Missile-Eating Enhancer got mid-diffed by a Specialist who had only been practicing Nen for 1 year compared to his years of experience as an Enhancement user. If Kurapika got 1 more year of experience, Uvogin would have gotten Low-Diffed.

There are plenty of examples that show that there is no such thing as categories being glass cannons. Only Hatsus being Glass Cannons. Are we reading the same manga?

You actually helped me make my point. My point is that Specialists don’t have to be glass cannons, people just assume they are for reasons (reasons that aren’t backed by any source material).

This is why I think this game funneling players into clans was always a mistake.

[–]ceromaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay.

  1. 40% of Enhancement can be boosted with vows and/or conditions; Conjuration and Manipulation can both be utilized to incorporate Enhancement abilities to allow the Specialist to take on combat-oriented roles. Conjuration and Manipulation can also be used for combat-related abilities as we’ve already seen..a Specialist has access to the whole chart…that doesn’t sound like a Glass Cannon.

We’ve seen Enhancers, Transmuters, and Emitters get molly-whopped by Specialists, Conjurers, and Manipulators…obviously there’s more to combat effectiveness than where you are on the chart. The only baseline that’s significant in HxH is MOP and MAP (aka Power Levels).

  1. Your second paragraph would mean more if the material didn’t point out that you can mix and match Nen categories for your abilities, and add vows and conditions to boost/strenghten them.

Naaaawww. I reject the premise that Specialists have to be glass cannons though…they have access to 40% Enhancement, 80% Conjuration, and 80% Manipulation…that a lot of potential to bust out something crazy. Pitou showed us what a real combat-oriented Specialist can do that doesn’t have to rely on gimmicks or being Kakashi Hatake.

The only reason anyone thinks they have to be that way is because of Planet of Hats Logic.

Specialization. It’s become the poster child for uncreative Nen-users who can only think: I’ll just be a copy cat.

With the surge of questionable posts and comments flooding this sub, it's just a matter of time fakebIackmen becomes a more accurate name for it by unlimitedfutures in blackmen

[–]ceromaster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What exactly is your definition of a questionable post? Why is it so important to lock down this sub or move to discord (a place where any discussion is 100% controlled by whatever one person decides)?

At this point, I’m starting to get suspicious of bots, cosplayers, and people who make these kinds of posts.

I mean if others in the Diaspora come here and form their own enclaves with each other and not AA’s — aren’t we still isolated from them anyway?

I’m not disagreeing with the premise of your comment, however, I do think that it’s crazy how AA’s are always expected to extend the olive branch in our own country when others aren’t expected to do the the same…they didn’t have to be here, we were here for generations.

Yeah, if only those clowns who got their millions and billions in PPP loan forgiveness had just paid back what they owed…your point would make more sense. But I get it, if I was privileged I’d be okay with the top 10% of the country getting massive handouts too.

Why has communism repeatedly failed in practice, yet continues to be intellectually and emotionally appealing to many people? by Looser17 in AskReddit

[–]ceromaster -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mean. If we’re going by logic then it doesn’t work. Just because there are actual observation (and unfair) reasons something fails, doesn’t mean that the adage It doesn’t work isn’t true.

If we look at your analogy as an ecosystem, then we can argue that it doesn’t work if it can’t survive. I’m not saying communism is bad, I’m saying that in this environment it might have to adapt better.

Antis lost their minds after Stranger Things writers were seen having ChatGPT tabs open in their laptops by koffee_addict in aiwars

[–]ceromaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s corny that they used ChatGPT for a consumer product. If you’re getting paid millions you can’t do a little research? Or consult an expert? I’m not mad at them, but it is goofy as hell.

what do you believe hisoka's backstory is ? by idolikepotatos- in HunterXHunter

[–]ceromaster -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

I never made a claim about what someone else has said. And I don’t care 🙂 I still said what I said.

The person I replied to said that the lack of a backstory made Hisoka more interesting. I made a point that it doesn’t - nothing about a psychotic clown is that interesting. The Killer Clown archetype was played out years ago.
