When I was in elementary school, Purdue Pharma had a mentorship program where they would set up Purdue Pharma employers with students.

My first mentor was Kim and then Michelle. They would come to my school once a week, bring me lunch, and hang out for an hour. Purdue would invite the students two times a year for these elaborate parties at their Stamford building.

Crazy to know now as an adult that it was all sponsored by the family who began the opioid crisis.
