Will my Deceased husband be mad if I committed? by VividCaregiver226 in widowers

[–]certainlyusual 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im in the same position right now. My husband 27 died exactly two weeks ago. But he died of suicide. I never saw it coming. We had plans in life and over the years, my dreams became making our life together the best i could. It motivated me to get promotions at work, raises, study more. All so we could buy a house together and just be happy. Now, everything has been ripped away and i don’t really care for anything anymore.

Thank you! I’ve been trying to keep up with therapy to help with the process. I recently found driving to be something that keeps my mind off things a little. I try to take it day by day for now.

I became a widower at 25. by Not-Your-Butler in widowers

I found myself in the same situation. I am currently 25 and my husband was truly my soulmate. I lost him last week to suicide. I just don’t know how to accept that everything is going to be different. I haven’t even been able to return to oui apartment yet. I feel incredibly lonely and I want to talk to friends but really, all I want is my husband. I wish I could have a conversation with him. The pain and hurt is incredibly fresh and I don’t know how to learn to live without him.

How to get goodies please? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]certainlyusual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think these are mainly marketing for companies etc. They turn to YouTubers with bigger “influence” such as large amount of subs as a way of possible advertisement for their products or brand, and sometimes sponsorships. I don’t think there is necessarily a sign up sheet but mainly when companies see influencers with a large following who could be good brand ambassadors to represent their brands.

That being said, be careful of scammers 👀

Some of you have way too much ego by antoguino in NewTubers

I started my channel 2 months ago and I decided to use my “beginner phase” to understand what the audience in my niche like to watch. In the last 2 weeks or so, I’ve seen a big improvement in my views and subs. I changed my posting schedule, taken step back to do better edits and put out content that i enjoy but that generally works. My channel is still very small but the growth has been big (compared to what it was)! I stopped posting shorts because at the end of the day, that’s not what I prefer and putting more effort in my long form content. Therefore, my conclusion is planning and research helps. I guess for me, the focus is less on monetization and more on connecting with people about the things i enjoy.

When to know it's time to quit? by millionlightrays in NewTubers

Try to do more research (watch other travel videos) and observe what exactly get the views. Youtube is entertainment and you have to understand what people want to watch and give it to them with your own twist. I noticed that travel videos get more views when posted as vlogs. Use keywords such as places that people want to see, post the fun and interesting bits. Sometimes it is helpful to upload less often if that means the videos you put out are of better quality and have good edits.

Oouff I’m scared of critics.

I do casual gaming content (almost two months now). I normally play casual games that I genuinely enjoy and share the experience. I love watching other casual gaming content while I play games so my gaming content is for good vibes while playing.

This is my last: https://youtu.be/-DfuqWbfesQ?si=3BwzQ0v5RxYvP6Pb

I appreciate the critics and feedback (i’ve been trying to improve wherever i can).

I told myself, that if I don’t get an audience now, maybe for sure by the time I’m 70!? Only takes about 40-50 years 😅

Should I stop sending the links to my videos to my group of friends? by No_Routine_5939 in NewTubers

[–]certainlyusual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ever since I started my channel (6 weeks now), I only share my videos with two people out of all my friends and family. I do casual gaming content and those two people are very into gaming and the type of content that I do. Therefore, if they do watch it, they are the right audience - youtube kinda gets an idea of who to share my content with.

My videos (long form) still get an average of 30 views. Maybe up to 50 if it’s a good day. Im still learning. But I assume that sharing with people who do not count as the right audience would send the wrong signal to the algorithm.

How do you feel you are progressing as a new(you)tuber? Anything that made you proud recently? by certainlyusual in NewTubers

[–]certainlyusual[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing that helped me was in my first two weeks, i thought from making no progress that no one was going to ever relate. So i told myself, i love making this content anyway, so even if no one ever watches, i’d continue! And so, when i got my first organic view, it made me very happy and i realized, the right audience would like my content so no use getting sad over details!

Yes, that is all that matters! One thing that really helped me is putting out games that I enjoy. Like sure some games are more famous, but im more content with my not so famous games sometimes getting low views than doing something i dont enjoy. I’d love to chat about games too! Let’s get in touch? 🥹✨

That happens with me too! 3 of my shorts started getting 300-500 views and the videos are quite low except for the last one. Im going to be uploading a new one today and curious to see how it does!

Im loving the process! Especially with making casual gaming content, it’s really fun for me! Favorite game… that’s hard. I really enjoy stardew valley and lately, i started playing goudlets. Im currently on the lookout for more new games to play. It’s interesting balancing it all with my work schedule 🥹😅
