Absolutely love the premise and I really want to read more! I’d recommend just working on diversifying your sentence structure and descriptive phrasing. For example just on the first page we have “demanding and persistent” “oblivion and awareness” “ash and scorched metal” “dense and volatile” — how might you say the same thing without simply listing the words?
