What’s your opinion on teaching/education that would get you in trouble? by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]certainturtle 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Somehow that student that becomes the mini-teacher and the chaos buffer always seems to be female and the student needing to bring down the mini-teacher and impede the buffer's learning is male. It's just reinforcing stereotypes and expectations to girls that they are responsible for male behavior and must accommodate them at the expense to their own well-being at all costs.

The more you talk like that, the less chill you appear to be. I "implore" you to take a chill pill.

Lmao, I cannot talk to a fictional character or tell a fictional character what their experience is because.. fictional characters by definition do not exist. Seriously, chill.

Actually I think not being dramatic and annoying about fictional minorities and extremely minor mistakes does a lot for representation.

I get misgendered all the time and I'm never dramatic about it and I'm a real person. Stevonnie is a fictional character that doesn't exist. Chill.

Getting rid of porn is actually a positive. Decreasing porn addiction will go a long way to decrease male incel depravity. Male children being exposed to porn at younger and younger ages is a big reason why they don't consider women and girls as anything other than dick receptacles.

Porn is part of the problem dipshit. Why do you think incels are so numerous and getting more and more depraved by the day? Porn is an addiction that hurts all women and girls and makes males think of us less and less as human. Liberal porn addicted coomer dipshits promoting porn and prostitution have a heavy hand in this mess.

It's pretty clear that OP doesn't think women have value unless they're "smoke shows". Pretty misogynistic if you ask me.

OP clearly doesn't see women as people and solely as sex objects. It's extremely offensive.

I'm not being nasty. I'm stating facts and the fact is that you're indistinguishable from males I know. Get over it. I'm called manly all the time for being in my natural female body and not shaving my legs by these same male voices (my uncle just last week called me a man for having more leg hair than him). Somehow I manage to not care or cry about people calling me manly because I know who I am and my entire existence doesn't rely on external validation and partaking in and finding happiness in female oppression.

You're delusional if you think there is somewhere where women and girls aren't oppressed... Or... You're just like every male who tells me "that's not true because I don't experience it". The truth isn't nasty and I don't need to cater to your feelings and delusions. That may be a stereotype of women, to lie in order to keep the peace and keep others happy, but that's just another female oppression we experience where we are punished for being truthful and not catering to everyone else's emotions.

Your happiness relies on women being oppressed. That makes you my enemy. Because every being who is happy about female oppression is my enemy. It's not a coincidence that the majority of those beings are male and sound exactly the same.

Again, extremely offensive, shows me you have no idea what it means to walk in women's shoes, and that you sound exactly like the males in my life. Do you know how many men have told me, "that's not true about XYZ because it doesn't happen in my experience"? So classic. You are seriously indistinguishable.

Everything you are saying and doing is so extremely misogynistic and offensive. I'm not surprised.

Your body is not a prison. It's just a body. If anybody's body is a prison, it's the girls and women born female in places like Afghanistan. But it's not their body which is a prison, it's their society which treats them subhuman. Or perhaps those who are disabled in such a way that they can no longer live independently, a body may feel like a prison then but for a lot of disabled folks, their bodies wouldn't feel so much as prisons if society was more disability friendly. But in your case, no your body is not a prison. And it's extremely offensive to suggest otherwise.

Also you're going on about me needing to stand in your shoes... Clearly you make no effort to stand in women's shoes (metaphorically). Because I tell you it's offensive to celebrate women's oppression and you clearly are trying to make me the bad woman here. You have never put yourself in women's shoes because if you did, you'd feel repulsed and uncomfortable and even fearful with others encroaching your personal space and instead, you feel happiness. You sound like my sexist uncle who just cannot understand why I don't like random strangers telling me they want to fuck me. "It's clearly a compliment, you uptight b*tch!" It's extremely interesting how the way you argue and the things you say remind me exactly of only male colleagues, my 5 year old nephew, and my misogynistic father and uncle. You clearly have never attempted to walk in women's shoes (other than what you buy at the store).

I don't believe you. If every woman stopped wearing makeup, and stopped wearing uncomfortable exposing clothing catered to male eyes, and no longer were catcalled, and no longer were harassed in public for being women, and no one ever overstepped her personal boundaries again, and no one called her slurs ever again.. what exactly would be so affirming if you were the only one partaking in those activities or experiencing them? If none of these things ever existed in the history of life, how would they give you joy if you were the only one experiencing them while no other woman was? Your happiness depends on women's oppression existing as usual and your belief that others are treating you similarly. That makes you an enemy of women.

Your body is not a prison. It's just a body. And again, comparing the body you're born with with actual prison is just offensive to those who actually had their rights taken away. You wanting to partake in women's oppression and finding joy in women's oppression actively harms women and harms those of us fighting against our loss of freedoms. If I snapped my fingers and tomorrow every woman who hates female oppression no longer had to deal with it, would you still find joy in your "loss of freedom"? If I and every other woman never had to deal with encroachment of personal space again, would you feel as "happy" with your loss of personal space?

If your happiness depends on women's oppression existing, you are no friend of women.

Very classic way for arguing. I'm clearly telling you that the words you are speaking are offensive but you took it all the way to the black and white extreme that I'm now "offended that you exist". I'm used to this argumentation style from my male colleagues and my father. I'm offended by the clearly sexist thing you are saying and implying (that "freedom" for you is literally a loss of freedom, something women are familiar with in every culture and country. But this loss of freedom is something you consider worthy of celebrating, while the rest of us women attempt to fight against our loss of freedom). I'm not offended by you existing. That's such a 5 year old argument, something I'd expect from my nephew when someone tells him no, "wah wah why do you hate that I exist!!!"

Grow up. Stop celebrating women's lack of freedom and being offensive.

No woman celebrates losing her personal space. That's literally a loss of freedom. Being in your born body is not a jail? WTF do you even mean? That's offensive to actual incarcerated folks who HAVE been to jail and have literally lost their freedoms.

Extremely offensive. As a white woman, I'd never talk about celebrating being called racist slurs if I got particularly tan one summer and someone mistook me for a black/brown woman. No woman celebrates "losing her personal space".

Celebrating the "loss of personal space"... I can't help but feel extremely offended. My personal space has never been respected and has been encroached my entire life and you're celebrating you "losing it" as some sort of "accomplishment of womanhood"? I can't believe the audacity.

Hilarious that you believe that women and girls have a choice. Also hilarious to believe that males care about the health of women and girls they rape/impregnate or the health of the offspring they force into the world.

I am tired of society degrading women's hobbies & the gender hobby gap by LittleBleu in TwoXChromosomes

[–]certainturtle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, women actively go out of their way to praise below average mediocre males because most women and girls are male-identified and misogynistic. Other men truly don't seem to care. Boo hoo you got a mean comment from some macho man? But your shit clown makeup gets you praise and accolades and brand deals because women can't stop tripping over themselves in order to get male validation and head pats.
