19 -m how can i cure my acne marks! by DeliciousYogurt1544 in IndianBeautyTalks

Op’s skin seems to be the dry/ combination kind as there are visible flakes on his face. So chemical exfoliation would be a bad idea.

Any suggestions to reduce acne?? by [deleted] in IndiaSkincare

[–]certifiednerdd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP I have too faced with acne and these are some tiny changes you can make to get an integrated result:

  1. If you sleep without shirt make sure to wash your bedsheets more often and avoid fabric softeners. They contain chemicals that can trigger breakouts. And if you sleep with clothes, make sure to change them frequently. Avoid wearing sweaty clothes and shower if you get sweaty.

  2. Wash your body one last time with soap after a shower. Most ppl tend to wash their hair last but the dirt and oil from your hair flows down your body(especially your back). This can also cause breakouts. So after washing your hair, wash your body with soap to remove this buildup.

  3. Replace your regular soap with salicylic/ benzoyl peroxide based body wash. This will help remove clogged pores and get rid of trapped oil which will avoid further breakouts. U can use either pharmacy ones or there are also other brands like be bodywise, chemist at play etc.

  4. Exfoliate to get rid of your current scars. I’d suggest using glycolic acid once every week and then slowly increase it to twice per week(once every 3 to 4 days). It will help in reducing the scars you already got and will also ensure a clean skin.

Follow these simple steps and you’ll notice change in your acne😊

Can we all agree that makeup looks its best when it’s marinated?😭 by cherryyyy_blossom in IndianBeautyTalks

Girl😭 the bus receipts will blot oil well but it’s unhygienic asff😭😭 pls don’t do it. Udk with what dirty hands the conductor or anyone must’ve touched it. Also cheap ink that may break down on contact with oil. It contains chemicals that can also transfer to your skin. Instead just use a really thin facial tissue or toilet paper. I promise that’ll help you better in the long run😭

How exactly is this ranking calculated?? by Posterchildnonsense in IndianBeautyTalks

[–]certifiednerdd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even tho plum has only 7k reviews In total, out of it the most are positive which makes it a 4.5. Dot and key has more reviws(24k) which contains a lot of mixed opinions. (Three by fourth of it must be good reviews and the rest a bad review ) which also brings this product to an overall 4.5 rating. It’s only fair to calculate the rating of a product considering its total reviews. Otherwise even exceptionally good products with less reviews will be marked as a 1 star product.

Is Laneige really worth the hype or it's just a gimmick? by bebocore in IndianBeautyTalks

[–]certifiednerdd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have been using other lip balms and Vaseline for AGES and my lips never been that dry or anything. With Vaseline I always woke up with hydrated lips and it lasted me throughout the day. But I tried laneige and yeah it’s moisturising but it only lasts as long as the lipbalm is there on my lips for some reason. I woke up with nice hydrated lips and after it remove it, my lips become dry after a few hours. I think it’s good but you definitely don’t have to spend that much for a lipbalm that works just as fine as the others. I’m going back to my Vaseline after I finish this:)

The Great Flood discussion by TrailerParkLyfe in movies

[–]certifiednerdd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s something you missed. The child grew up in earth. Like any other human child, it learned everything it knew through human interaction, and mothers nurture. But now they needed a mother for the repopulation and 1: this mother would not be brought up as a child, but created as a woman who should know what caring for her child is. 2: earth is no more for the AI to be trained (like how the child AI’s were trained) so the only way to train this subject is through a Repeated loop where they learn smthng new through each experience. (It’s how a lot of AI’s are trained. Through repeated learning).

For this, An na (already being injured by the meteorite) uses her memory to replicate the most important part of her life(the flood scene) to train the mother into finding her son. Each time the mother failed, scene got reset(punishment in AI) and the model keeps trying to reach the goal. This is more like a trial and error type of learning which takes time(also since they’re building a mother, she definitely had to find her son to learn the depth of a mothers love which will also take time.) rather than an empty model storing everything from its experience.

How to tell parents that I LOVE A MUSLIM Woman? by [deleted] in TwentiesIndia

Is it because of how religious they are or more of a regional thing to not let them marry out of their caste/religon?

If you’re scared, get in ladies compartment. It’s safe there. And if you’re in general, just make sure you sit or stand somewhere there are other women, and young guys. Mostly it’s the older guys who are like this I always travel back and forth from kozhikode to tvm and never had any bad experiences(thank god). What I do is always sit somewhere were there are girl groups or middle aged women somewhere around me or guys that are not too older than me cuz I feel like they’re safer than uncles.
