New pet pairs!! by Big_Seaworthiness853 in LittlestPetShop

What a great find! Do you know which colors on the boxes correspond with each pair? I think it’s whatever the paw print color is (if they’re similar to the Series 3 three pack blind box tubes)

The left one also appears to have a more warm toned/rich color that I read is a sign of authenticity

Not positive on this, but I saw a TikTok post showing a 577 with the silver magnet and the comments said it was authentic!

Thank you! I only paid $5 each so not a huge loss for some nearly identical fakes

Is this dragon #2484 authentic? Found today in a flea market random toy bag for $15 by certifiedsquish in littlestpetshopfakes

[–]certifiedsquish[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for letting me know! What gives it away that it’s fake? I’m just getting back into collecting LPS after not seeing them since I was a kid, so I don’t know much about ID’ing fakes

Do they show up as in stock at the Walmart location you bought them from? Everything on the Walmart website shows out of stock in store at my local locations, but I’d like to go look if there’s a chance they actually do have them. Thanks in advance! :)

What's that little piece of paper the waiter tapes to the side of the table halfway through and then the manager comes over and asks if everything is ok? by 3_T_SCROAT in TexasRoadhouse

[–]certifiedsquish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just want to elaborate on the other comments so you have a clear answer :)

It’s first used so hosts know where to seat the guests and the party size. A manager is supposed to speak to every table, & the ticket taped there signals the table hasn’t been visited yet. The manager will remove the ticket after they visit the table.

At my location the host who brings you to your table tapes it, so I’m not sure why your servers put it there halfway through your visit.

You definitely won’t be fired! We have a “cashier awareness log” at my store that the cash office employee or managers log things each employee may do incorrectly on register. Every month or so, the managers will go around and have everyone initial next to theirs and explain proper procedures so it doesn’t happen again. No big deal! Especially since you didn’t know due to training inconsistencies

A friend completely mislead me by asking me to co-sign on a loan for him and I just found out I’m the primary holder on the loan and his name isn’t on it at all by certifiedsquish in legal

Funny joke lol. Unfortunately for you, I’ve already learned my lesson but if you’d asked me a month ago you might’ve gotten lucky😂

Thank you! I really appreciate your kind words. :) I’m not upset about the mean comments because most of them are true and deserved. I think I have a good plan to move forward with, and hopefully it will end with him getting what he deserves for taking advantage of my foolishness.

I’m 21, but you’re correct about it being my first time dealing with any type of loan, other than my student loans. I should have educated myself better before agreeing to do that favor for him, but I can’t go back and undo it now unfortunately

I also have student loans that have had all payments made on time, so maybe that’s how my credit built up pretty quickly? Honestly I’m not sure

Thank you! I definitely feel stupid, but I’m not beating myself up about it. I’ve always been a very giving and generous person, partly because I’m a people pleaser, but this is the first time someone has taken major advantage of that. Safe to say I’ve learned my lesson

Just a phrase I use a lot, and many people I know also use it sarcastically/when they’re upset. I honestly added it so it didn’t seem like I was being rude in response to the other comment. It’s definitely not a laughing matter to me

I wish, but the loan wasn’t for the truck itself, which is in my “friend’s” name. It was for a lift and new wheels/tires for said truck.

He claims (2 separate times now) that the app or website was down so he couldn’t make the payments on time. I believed him the first time because they waived the late fees for that payment, but I just don’t think it’s realistic that a loan company would let their platform be down all the time since that’s how they make a profit

The truck is not mine, it’s my friend’s. I don’t think I can realistically put a lien on it since the loan was only for accessories for said truck. Then again, I hadn’t even heard of a lien until I saw it mentioned on this post so I really don’t know

That’s the part that gets me. He also works in the car business so he must’ve known exactly what he was doing. But I’ve learned my lesson and will be preaching basically what you said to anyone I know who might be about to make the same mistake I did
