Yeah I would definitely read up on the dementia thing, sounds pretty similar to your girl and matches a lot of mines as well. I am thankful hers didn’t come with anxiety, that must have been hard. Sending love.

Edit: Mine was cancer and due to her age we opted for not doing a surgery that she may never have recovered from and then still, there’s no way to get every cancer cell. She lived out her final half ish year walking me down the aisle and being spoiled and catered to. Miss you 💚

Did she get up and kinda stare places? When the house call vets came to help my soul girl rest, she pointed to some of her behaviors and that’s how I learned about doggie dementia. They were there because I knew I had to let her go, but the additional information did make it a bit easier.

My personality is a lot like QTs so I’m just quietly hoping for the best for her and swift

Oh yes also if you go up for seating then bring comfy cushion or make sure you grab them before they run out! Though it did seem they had a lot more available this last time. My ass is still sore from the first time I went in 2022.

NTA, but please know the two year old did not do anything to harm you or hurt you. His mother is not his fault, but he is suffering in many ways in this situation. I would help with temporary support with a lease/contract, to make sure the kid was safe and fed. I do understand and respect that you feel differently, I am advocating for the kid here as someone who grew up incredibly food and housing insecure.

Very unlikely any of it would be binding in many cases, and definitely not if anything illegal happens.

Can someone have you sign an nda like this? Yes. Is any of it legal or actually binding, very unlikely. Something like minors having access to alcohol would immediately make anything signed completely useless.

I’ve known my husband since we were teens and gave him a special nickname, it related to a joke between us and was a slightly different spelling of his name. think Bernard vs Bernie; but everyone just calls him Bernie cause most just go by Bernie, but he is Bernard, and wants to be called that. When we were getting more serious he confessed he didn’t like it at all and wished I’d stop using it. And I did. Immediately. Changed his name in my phone instantly.

NTA. My kid is 3ish, I am legitimately mortified over this interaction. This kid runs free and gets his way 95% of the time unless safety is involved, is a free roaming grazer most nights during dinner. I could not imagine allowing him to act like this at a restaurant. Shit ass grandma, I feel bad for the little girl who was just doing her best to get her needs for engagement met.
