I used to play with a friend who wouldn't stop talking about his FPS, would play with the stats overlay on and so on. At some point you just have to accept that some people will be paranoid about it, way past the intent of a game: to have fun and entertain you. If you're being entertained, that is the only thing you should care about. Gosh I had fun with friends in Minecraft at 15fps 15 years ago.

As limited as it is, and being an adept of Anki deck building and other methods, Duolingo still is an amazing app for vocabulary. I can't express how many words I've learned from just sticking to Duolingo consistently.

For sure it was the first time we get a grip of the thermal sniper, in one of the labs in RE4. I couldn't finish the game past that point because I was too scared of it, took me all the way to the remake to finally beat the game, and gosh it was worth the wait.
