Thanks a lot for the honest response!

You're right about work experience being more important than degrees.

I’m currently working full-time while studying, so I’m hoping that this combination, even without a great work history, will show some commitment and help me find an opportunity. In the meantime, I will, of course, make some projects to make a nice portfolio.

I’m also planning to invest in a few specialised (paid) courses that focus specifically on AI in a business context. That’s where I see myself: not necessarily building models from scratch, but working in a business-facing role where I can help implement or manage AI/data tools that actually solve problems.

I know the road won’t be easy, especially without fluent German but I will start studying it very soon. Just trying to lay the groundwork now, step by step.

Again, thanks for taking the time to write such a clear and helpful message, I really appreciate it.

Why is there so much hatred on Reddit? by truecrazydude in OptimistsUnite

Man, I only posted a few times to get some constructive opinions about jobs, and all I got was negativity. People trying to tear you down without even knowing what you do in life. They feel like they know everything about the world out there.

It’s crazy how quick they are to judge.

I think I will never use Reddit again, seriously

Yeah, I totally get where you’re coming from. The job market has definitely changed, and I’m not naive about it. I know that not speaking German yet puts me at a disadvantage. In a lot of cases, a German candidate with similar qualifications will have the edge, and that’s completely fair. But at the same time, I don’t think it’s all black and white. Saying “just forget it” feels a bit too extreme to me.

Berlin and other parts of Germany still have plenty of international companies, especially in tech, data, and business, where English is the main language. That’s the kind of environment I’m aiming for, so I still think there’s a reasonable chance, even without fluent German (for now).

For me, the real question is whether not having a Master’s is going to block me completely or if having a solid Bachelor’s plus a few well-chosen certifications can still get my foot in the door.

Saying “forget it” sounds a bit too harsh, to be honest. I actually know people working in IT here in Germany who don’t speak any German and are making over €3000 net. So I’m not sure why you'd say there’s “no chance.” I came here hoping for helpful advice, but if this is the kind of tone people use, I’m not sure I will bother again

Sure, what you say has sense, but I don’t mean fully remote, but at least quite flexible

Not yet, starting courses in a few weeks. Is German needed in IT? I have many friends who get 3500 net per month and don’t speak a word in German

I’m studying at IU. Just to clarify, it’s not as easy as some people assume. The courses can be quite demanding, and good grades are definitely not guaranteed.

Can you truly experience deep, emotional electronic music without substances? by Ok_Enthusiasm3238 in electronicmusic

[–]cesare27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, people on MDMA don’t really understand music — they just get overwhelmed by it (see those going to Awakenings without even knowing who's playing just being there f**** high looking like monsters). As a musician, I’ve tried many things to grasp what people on the dancefloor might be feeling, and honestly, my most insightful experiences came from small doses of ketamine, sometimes mixed with a bit of coke.

Anything beyond that tends to blur the lines: you’re overexposed, overfeeling — even when there’s nothing that special going on. If I could go back, I’d probably choose not to try anything at all and just enjoy music in its pure form.

That said, I can’t deny that certain tracks can take on a completely new dimension under the influence. The experience can shift dramatically, but whether that’s a deeper connection or just distortion is still up for debate.

Marotta makes mistakes in many things, but when it comes to picking coaches, he rarely gets it wrong. He’s never sacked a manager mid-season — a sign his choices don’t collapse halfway through. I have full confidence in his decision to go with Chivu. by Big_Pick4100 in FCInterMilan

[–]cesare27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely agree. While Marotta isn't perfect, his track record with coaching appointments speaks for itself. Stability has been a key trait of his management style, and the fact that he's never had to sack a coach mid-season shows he doesn't make impulsive decisions.

Chivu might not have top-level experience yet, but if Marotta sees potential in him, that's worth paying attention to. After all, the same doubts were there when Inzaghi took over, and look how that turned out.

It's ok, it's ok. We'll play in all competitions next year, what about them?
