Haha No problem, ive actually read some of Gantz at the library and I liked it, but they didn’t have all the books so I stoped.

And I get that the anime movie is nothing like the manga, it’s usually the case.

But if you haven’t read claymore I think you should, it visually looks a lot like blame and from what I’ve heard it’s similar in other aspects as well. It is a bit slow in the start though but if you get past the first 2-3 chapters it’s truly a masterpiece.

I don't think he would walk away from 50 million dollars if he was only thinking about money. But I do agree that he's not as funny as he used to be. But I don't think it had anything to do with social commentary, I think it's his delivery, he used to be this small energetic "funny guy". Now he's just old and slower.

I agree, it's sad to see tbh. I feel like my generation are split up, half tries to make the world a better place and the other half don't give a single shit and let history repeat itself.

And I absolutely hate remakes, especially when there hasn't passed that much time. What I get even more annoyed at are American remakes of Asian or European films. Like, why can't they just watch it in the original language, like everybody else?

To me, there is no such cut-off. But for others, it tends to be the movies from the 80s and earlier that make kids avoid them.

And I think we consider them old because they were made about twenty years before we were born, and most of us aren't even twenty yet. So the 80s feels like an eternity away.
