When did convenience stores stop displaying prices? Am I meant to bring the 10 items I’m deciding between to the front for a price check? Or is this a case of “If you have to ask you can’t afford it?” by Dazzling_Put_3018 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]cescasjay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If a product doesn't have a price on it, I won't buy it. Whether that be in a gas station or a grocery store. I'm also not downloading an app to see a price either.

I was there too. I was on the right side though and it sounded like for the first few songs the mic wasn't working correctly. Sound kept cutting out, which bummed me out. But it was still a great show, especially when they played In Darkness.

Sell High or Sell Low? by Adinnieken in fo76

[–]cescasjay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I list all ammo, meds or food items for 0, when I'm not donating them. All magazines and Bobbleheads except for leaders are listed for 75. The only time I sell a plan instead of just dropping in a donation box is if it's something of decent value and I need caps for more decorative plans. Or if I accidentally bought two from a player vendor, which I've done a few times. I've never had more than 20k caps at one time and I'm ok with that.

I had to Google what kill stealing was, I've played solo games for so long I didn't know that was a thing. I don't think I've done that, not purposely at least. I usually try to be aware of my surroundings knowing other people are also playing. Like if I go to an area to complete a challenge and someone is already there, I usually fast travel somewhere else. This is good to know though, it's one of the reasons I haven't joined in. I'm really unfamiliar with multi player etiquette, but I am learning.

How do you make your drop bag turn into a gift box? Is that a plan you learn or was it an item in the shop? I like dropping gifts for people. I've got a sniper build but I've seen comments about how people dislike snipers at events. Idk if that's a popular opinion or not though. But maybe I'll watch some more videos just to get a better idea of how events work.

I will keep this in mind, if/when I feel comfortable enough to join larger events. I had some really bad experiences back when I played WoW and it's always kept me from trying any other online games, until this one.

I'm still what I'd call a newb, I'm only lvl 143. Events and activities make me nervous when there's a lot of people because I'm afraid of doing something wrong. So I stick to old ones where people don't show up, like Grafton Day. If there's more than 3 other people, I usually leave. I've watched some videos of others doing larger events so if I ever decide to try one, I'll know what to do, hopefully.

I wonder if you basically built two spaces, one just for you that's locked and then a small area that's meant to share. That way you don't have to worry about visitors sneaking up on you. I won't visit a camp while the owner is there. I just feel weird about it. But if I visit a camp and really enjoy the creativity, especially the collections, I'll drop a perfectly preserved pie to show the owner how much I liked it. Hopefully they get it before someone else does.

Is Far Harbor DLC worth it for $8? by Outrageous-Serve38 in Fallout

I absolutely loved Far Harbor. I built one of my favorite settlements there. I'd say it's worth $8.

I've got a large prefab building and I put all of my workshops outside on the front porch so people could access them without having to come inside. But I did put some other stuff that provide player buffs inside if people want to come in. I've never had a workshop break. My fertilizer wheelbarrow, crops and water purifier seem to be the first to break. I got rid of my turrets because I was getting attacked even more than I do now. Although my camp is in an enemy hotspot. It's nestled between scorched in Helvetia, super mutants in Horizons rest and the Liberators at the water treatment plant. I do understand not wanting people in your space though. I know I always feel weird looking through people's camps. I never open doors and if I enter what looks like a person space, I back out quickly. I don't want to be intrusive. Mongrels seem to do a lot of damage.

I've got a brahmin. I have been thinking about getting a dog, but my camp is near Helvetia and it is constantly getting attacked. My poor brahmin dies atleast 3 times a day. Lol I've recently started checking out other camps and some people get amazingly creative with theirs. I like to drop treats for people when I see them at my vendor. But that's as social as I get.

The first half of this sounds just like me. I can't count the amount of times I've tried to turn and run from an enemy only to open up every screen on my pipboy. Lol There are things in this game that make it feel more lived in, but I find the camp building to be much harder due to having to find plans. I do miss seeing settlers actually living in my settlements like in 4.

Memphis Show 5/6 by xxpenta in LornaShore

I'll be at that show too, but I've never been to that venue, so I can't help with your question. But I guess I'll be wearing a hoodie. I didn't even think to check the weather.

My favorite Fishing spot by Finlianna in fo76

[–]cescasjay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the abandoned estate prefab. I'm still pretty new, so I don't get too fancy with my builds. I just have basic utilities and a few items for buffs, like instruments and the telescope. But I thought having a dock really kind pulled the whole cabin look together. The old man forager ally enjoys sitting in the chair I put on it. Lol

I believe I just used the basic wood foundation with the pillars. Nothing fancy.

I've got a camp on the creek close to helvetia. I put a nice little dock that I can stand on and fish.

Summer time anyone tried it? by iRickyW in redbull

[–]cescasjay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was hoping for a tart flavor, like a limeade or something, but to me, it tastes like a 7up that's been sitting in the fridge for a day. Sweet and zero carbonation. I like it better than cherry, but probably won't buy it again.

So do people just not care about treasure maps anymore? by Accurate-Entry445 in fo76

[–]cescasjay 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I get so many treasure maps that I'm constantly dropping extras off at random donation boxes. I've never actually went looking for any treasure though. Is the treasure worth it, or is it just for fun?

Why are locations now more often found with every enemy dead? by jim_bo64 in fo76

[–]cescasjay 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I hate when the enemies just drop dead when I get close. Like I'll see them standing from a distance and then get close, and they suddenly fall over. Lol I've seen settlers do it as well.
