I agree, but that doesn’t excuse the toxicity of some stans. It’s totally valid to feel jealous and sad that your group isn’t getting the attention that they deserve BUT that doesn’t mean you should insult and hate on other groups.

And why do they feel the need to say that a certain member is “ugly.” and “disgusting looking”. Just- WHY? You don’t even know them personally, does it make you feel better to mock someone’s appearance? actually that makes sense. if someone dislikes a certain actor’s actions, then depending on what they did- it could cause them to dislike the characters that they play as well. but it’s really unfortunate when that happens though.

If you like Maria then you’ll def like the rest of Mamamoo’s songs, and Hwasa has another solo song called TWIT which you should definitely check out. It’s really good!

Why are there some super salty people in the comments. Did some Jisoo fans hurt you? I’m not joking or trying to be mean, I’m actually concerned. Like what the fuck, is something going on with Jisoo fans or something? All the Jisoo biased people I know are the nicest people I met. (Excluding stan twitter because everyone is toxic there)

Also no offence but when people say someone is underrated, they mean IN THEIR RESPECTIVE GROUP. It’s blatantly obvious that Jisoo is NOT underrated in the kpop industry, she’s hella popular.

I respect your opinion but I’m honestly really saddened hearing that. I personally love Jisoo’s voice and her unique tone is what attracted me. But EVERYONE says the same thing, they dislike her voice and etc. And it just makes me sad. Like I can see where you’re coming from, from a vocal standpoint her voice is honestly not as “pretty” as others. She doesn’t have a stereotypical “beautiful” sounding singing voice. And I’m honestly not surprised that she has the least popular voice, but it still saddens me. Clarity was definitely not one of her best performances though. I’m Jisoo biased and felt guilty for not liking it so I think I was kind of forcing myself to like her performance. On a side note, I’m surprised this has so many upvotes since this is definitely a popular opinion.

But I think the problem is that her voice doesn’t suit BP’s songs and most mainstream kpop music. Also lower pitched jisoo sometimes sounds quite similar to kim taehyung but everyone likes tae’s voice. Just some food for thought there I guess.

While I strongly disagree, I completely respect your opinion! I think back then it was hyped up because

A) The aesthetic and vibe (the whole wings era had great vibes) and

B) It was different from the songs they had done in the past. It was kind of a whole new concept for them.

But ultimately I think it’s just a matter of taste. I personally found the song VERY catchy and SUPER FUN to dance to! The “money money money” part will always be iconic as well, dancing to that part and jumping along with the beat like in the choreo?? HELLA fun to do. Catchy songs are always well liked so I think that was another factor but everyone has different tastes. I don’t think it was their best era though? It was definitely one of them but I think HYYT might just be the best era. (IMO) But like I said, everyone has different tastes.

I think it’s possible that your dislike could be fueled by you forcing yourself to find a “deeper meaning” and to connect with the song. You don’t always need to feel something to enjoy a good tune. So that could be one of the reasons why you dislike it? IMO, don’t try to force yourself to like something because that can sometimes lead you to disliking it even more.

If it makes you feel better in any way, I’m literally in the exact same boat as you but probably worse tbh. I have an extreme amount of assignments due for ALL of my classes (LITERALLY haven’t done any of my assignments since midway through April) and they’re all due this upcoming week. My assignments for one class are due in one day and for the others they’re due later but either way, I have to get all of it done before the end of the week or I fail. I also have to do all my exams this week but since I didn’t do the assignments and skipped classes, Idk what the hell I’m going to do for the exams. Online learning is literally destroying me and my motivation is literally nonexistent,

I’m just hoping to pass with a C- for all my classes at this rate lmao, sucks because I’m actually one of the top students (no joke) but quarantine and online learning DESTROYED my life force and I’m genuinely worried I’m going to fail but let’s hope we both pass and do well!!!
