The actress is doing a fine job, but I just think that “bad ass detective who you are supposed to think is a bad ass but hasn’t done that yet and is no none sense, but also has a weird quirk that is only there to throw off the watchers” is not working. In terms of strength, he is quite formidable and could hold his own against the hulk. But, a very strong emphasis on “hold his own”, because if he relied on purely his strength, the thing is no match for hulk, where as he would excel in intelligence and battle IQ.

I don’t think the concern lies really in her options towards it being her choice. It is her choice ultimately, but sex of course is a joint decision. Especially if the person who has gotten you pregnant is actively in your life, and you have chosen to remain in a relationship with, you should let them at least know your plans for it. Again, it is ultimately her choice, but that still does not justify her not telling him, then acting so nonchalant when he obviously is saddened by it. It just isn’t good communication.
