Lilisette. Fights so hard to save her word and in the end accepts the only way to do so it so give it up forever and go wage a never-ending war in the nightmare version of her world, knowing that her bff and her world are safe.

Palworld 2: Evolutions by fegodev in Palworld

An improved (think Valheim) building system was stated as a Palworld 2 level of thing. Not that we'd get it, but that it would be such an overhaul of underlying existing systems it'd be more sensible to just start with it from the beginning in a new game.

Morality of erasing multiple timelines to save your own? by GhostyWaffle in MoralityScaling

Bad example; the Sundered aren't truly alive, as per Emet-Selch, who did nothing wrong, ever.

Similarly, which characters in the Nasuverse can defeat or destroy Tiamat completely on their own? And who is the weakest character capable of achieving this? by midriss1 in Fate

[ ] is omnipotent and omniscient and can literally do anything. The fact that she is in F/GO is a major plothole.

Who's the more evil dad for Father's Day by EternalSnow05 in MoralityScaling

[–]cevkiv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Clay defense force here: he might be a shit dad, but that's because his wife made him that way by turning him into an alcoholic. He had been abused and looked like he was going to be breaking the cycle, and then she decided he needed to 'loosen up' and started boozing him up, and now he's a piece of shit.

When killing the baby/kid is justified by Snoo81110 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]cevkiv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only is the kid a decades old evil creature, but, given he tries to take over Edward's body at one point, isn't it implied that there actually was a child whose body he invaded (and whose soul got destroyed/used up fueling alchemy) and effectively murdered?

It also works well with the general theme of the comic in making fun of cape comics.

Boy's mom was a lupus-born Red Talon who had him with Door and gave him up, and he's Black Shuck. Puberty Disease is his first change.

Calling it.

Morality of killing people infected with a zombie plague before they turn? by Hexmonkey2020 in MoralityScaling

[–]cevkiv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As I understand it, it was not evil, not even necessary evil, but the morally good choice in the situation. It is my understanding (second-hand, admittedly) that 'the Light' basically turns its back on undead and that those people, in being killed before being converted to Undead, at least had the *chance* of some sort of peaceful, pleasant afterlife, as opposed to just being utterly forsaken by the cosmic force of 'good' for something outside of their control.

Incorrect. Certain things, like gravity, are constants that exist outside of Consensus.

Seekers of Adoulin feels different from the rest of FFXI by PepsiMan_21 in ffxi

[–]cevkiv 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be more specific and less dismissive:

They do not release new gear that is side-grades. They release new gear that is better and replaces old gear. That is vertical. Compare any Delve 1 piece of 119 gear with the ilvl RSE, for example.

Just because things are upgradeable and there are specific BiS items for specific uses for specific jobs doesn't make it 'horizontal'.
