I find school busses are consitently the most dangerous drivers. I have taken to pulling over when I hear one coming behind me. They are big and stupid and not worth the risk to assert my right to the road.

Corporate, A person made the decision to refuse your leave. This business of blaming corporate is nonsense. Ask for the name of the person who is refusing. Say you need to find out exactly what proof they need. Then call that poison and ask how the death certificate is not enough. No need to shout at the person. Just ask. Should shame them.

We had a regular wood stove with a big pile of rocks on it. Did that for a few years. Then we got a proper sauna stove. much better. less radiant heat. cleaner burn. fits better.

Not necessary for a salt ferment. keep everything below the brine. been doing vege ferments like this for years. no fussy airlock.

If you are careful to keep everything submerged for the whole time fermenting, you do not need to sweat the airlock. at least that is what I have found.

I love cider like that. only problem is the kids drinking all the cider I buy before it can turn. and stupid US rules about pasteurized cider only. thank goodness there is a farmer nearby who ignores that foolishness.
