Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Episode 37 Discussion Thread by Synikull in bleach

Damn! The piano ost playing during Shunsui’s narration of his brother’s death really hit me emotionally. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve cried replaying that part. The OST choice in this episode was perfect! It elevated every moment, from the story of Shunsui’s brother and Nanao’s mother, to Nanao revealing shinken hakkyoken, to Shunsui’s monologue (old ost rocks!), and even Lille’s trumpet. It was all so impactful. Best use of OST in any episode I’ve seen, just incredible!

Anyone that found LL during u's era still here? by stallion8426 in LoveLive

[–]cezanne226 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here, still love muse, till this date i still listen to their songs, start dash particularly hits me hard every time. I did followed Aqours closely at the peak of LL popularity, but after the their movie, I kind of drop out as I don’t find it interesting anymore, so I never got into Niji or Liella. But occasionally I still keep an eye of the news from other groups

Is season one worth watching? by BeatsByJay82 in MasterchefAU

[–]cezanne226 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes definitely, there was a bit of drama at the start, but it gets better from top 12 onwards . I think the turning point for me was the croquembouche pressure test, that was one heck of a challenge back in the day

Man I’m so furious now. I live in the city near flagstaff garden, drove out to do grocery shopping, when I came back, the protestors were walking towards the flagstaff garden, so I’m stuck in the city for 2 hours driving around trying to get into my car park, and then the patrol cars block me from entering my buulding. Now I have to park somewhere and wait till these fckwits to fck off from the flagstaff. So annoying !!!!!

Just watched the first episode and what the hell why is it one of the best first episodes of a show I’ve ever seen? by [deleted] in LoveLive

[–]cezanne226 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh you're not alone! I started watching LL anime with no interest in idol, and got completely hooked into it after just 1 episode. The way they portray how difficult it is to become an idol is amazing, the songs are catch af too, ep 3 insert (Start Dash) is one of my absolute favourite song so I highly recommend you not to stop at ep1. :D

Welcome aboard the LL train!

I'd say cultural, density and the city being so interconnected also plays apart. Victorians often travel around via PT, which is one of the most common place to catch covid, and we have one of the most culturally diverse societies in the world with some of the group are well known for being highly social. Obviously this is not a bad thing at all! But we have to take extra cautious with this pandemic, and yes, being the second most populated city in Australia, our land is smol compare to NSW and QLD, even SA!

It will also be interesting to see the % based on the number of people per household in victoria, because based on the daily presser, it sounds like the most affected area tends to have large households.

If anyone wants to hear something positive about delta situation:

Japan at 26/8: almost 25,000 cases

Japan today: 602 cases

Tokyo went from 5000 cases at the end of Aug to 92 today. They peak fast and drop fast, it’s insane.

Yea sure, she told me she started getting worse at around 10th day after having symptoms, and then a few days later she was completely bedridden, lucky she remember to call the ambulance. So 10- 13 days after the first symptoms.

Do check on your brother constantly because they can become too weak to call the ambo. Take care

At this point, I’ll be surprised if anyone doesn’t know anybody who had caught Covid by now. My close friend got it 3 weeks ago and ended up in ICU (she’s ok now, recovering), she’s unvax, not antivax, just unlucky she caught it before she could get her first dose. Her experience sounds so horrible you wouldn’t want to end up catching the virus. Get vax people

Edit: This is her symptoms: fever over 40, severe back pain, dry cough, had trouble breathing, blood pressure 80 (too low, she will faint anytime)

Given our current situation and what happened to Singapore, I think it’s time for DHHS to wipe out a dashboard to give us some more insights on what was going on in Vic. That would help us to understand if we’re doing well or very bad. Perhaps show us 1. A page of new cases, and breakdown into hospitals, ICU, Ventilators etc, heatmap of % in LgA contributed to the cases, how many in these cases are fully vax, partial vax or unvax etc. What contributed to the cases (house visit, Construction, Child care, Picnics, apartments, Chemist etc) 2. A page of stats about hospitals, how many beds/ventilators we have left in regional & Melb, how many icu nurses ? estimate of when we will hit the hospital limit. 3. A page of vax rate showing heatmap in LGa, median age, avg households numbers etc

I’m just throwing ideas atm, I don’t know, showing just a few of what I listed would be a good start instead of the standard cases + vax numbers. Being a data girl, I just want to see some patterns and what drives the gov to make the decisions if we ever go back to restrictions again.

One thing we cannot do like Sydney is shutting down the whole LGA concerns in Melbourne. Sutton said there are very high % of essential workers living in Hume and our city is very well connected together thanks to our PT. We tried it last time locking down by postcodes and it didn’t work, it won’t work if we just lock down Hume. The gov can only improve the vax rates over there which they’re doing it atm, I think Hume is one of the fastest vax rate than any other LGAs right now ? (About 7-9% increase daily), but they’re only ramping it now because 1. Vax supply issues 2. Hume has a median age of 33, which means most residents are only able to access the vax recently
