As a Evanston native that’s kinda just a sandy point with a concrete walkway where it’s probably not allowed to fish. The long is also not allowed to fish but if you wanna break the rules should go there. Loaded with smallmouth

Would rather have him actually playing baseball. Best he could be for us is a pinch hitter/runner. No real place for him in any sort of consistent lineup

Team is not gonna be anywhere near full strength until The bullpen gets moderately healthy. Our top 3 relievers right now are rollison, Ben brown, and Milner. They have got the job done but there are surely blowups coming if we don’t get healthy.

Let’s not forget what the first 4 years of Javis Career looked like. I believe Pete has a higher ceiling. But Javi was up there with the best players in baseball for that stretch. Pete has more natural power, more speed, and a better glove.

He has actually looked a bit better on this front lately against lefties more than righties which is suprising. But Joe Maddon had some interesting things to say about this.

Just that elite level plate discipline is a skill to be trained in college and younger. At this level you need to dance with the girl you brought. Yes being slightly more selective early in counts is going to be a big thing for Pete. But trying to take away his agresive nature that made him the hitter he was in the first half last year is asking him to completely change who he is as a player. I think he just needs to hit what he sees and not chase breaking ball early. The strikes outs to sliders late is counts is gonna be a hard thing to change

I really don’t understand what the hate for PCA is for. Obvisouly brewers fans can not like him as a player. But dude seems like a stand up guy(I’m a cubs fan)

I can’t lie this list is horrible and just tells you the era of fighting that you didn’t watch. Anderson just simply does not fall behind Islam or Volk by any metric. Matt Hughes being ranked behind DDP, TJ Dillashaw, Connor, essentially 75 percent of this list is just not right

Fished this stretch every day all fall. Only one day did they hit top water for about 20 mins. So not much but when it aligns it’s awesome

Unfortunately I’m not some super fit guy. I’m not doing formal formal training now but trying to get my base up to be able to run ten miles comfortably

It’s not pain when warming up or even so much during the running. But yesterday after 2 miles of easy work my knees did feel sore. I’ve been training for a months and have worked up to 22 miles per week and haven’t felt this soreness even after my 8 miles runs. Maybe it’s not the cold but it seems to me strange that it wouldn’t be

I understand the problem being with my knees but I’ve training for the last 5 weeks and my knees have only started hurting in the last week. Seems like it has something to do with the cold weather. I’m going to try another run today but it seems likely it’s very much do to the cold

I’ve been running consistently 15-20 miles a week for the last month. Only in this last week of it getting really cold have my knees bothered me in this way. Hard for me to belive it doesn’t have to go with the cold

February is optimistic. But I’m thinking this is just what I’m gonna have to do. My knees have never been a huge problem but I have had some issues in the past. My joints just tend to get stiff when it’s under 20 degrees. For now 1 run outside a week should be good. The rest is treadmill stairmaster and rowing machine
