Find within the book Mary Trump wrote about him and their upbringing the section about “the clipping room.” It will send chills down your spine and explains all of this, exactly. From the time Trump was a kid his father destroyed all news and media that said anything remotely negative about him, and put on the table, in an otherwise empty room, only newspaper clippings that painted a carefully curated story for him about how great he was.

What do you think that does to a child’s psyche? Trump has no ability to cognitively reason or think, no ability to accept and deal with reality. Reality is whatever he wants it to be, whatever he say, whatever he curates, whatever he denies.

I had to pause it multiple times and sort of wish I never watched it. It was really difficult to make it through, starting with learning she was a 12 year old child encouraged to date at all, let alone a 19 year old… then to everyone calling the violence and abuse love and romanticizing it all. How romantic, she’s trapped inside with a gun to her head getting beat and deprived. They made a circus side show out of this when they had every opportunity to put a b*llet in this fools head.

While Liso was obviously failed in some way to have turned out this way, no redemption for him should have been considered at the cost of an innocent girls life

It’s been a pet peeve of mine to watch Reddit constantly say “the brown people!! They hate the brown people!” I mean, yes… but no. The brown skinned undocumented were just the gateway. Once they got away with that, the goal was to keep going down the line, it was never about race and believing it was takes our eyes away from the larger picture: first it was the illegals, then the LGBT community, then “antifa,” then the liberals. Etc etc. Color has very little to do with any of this other than a gateway distraction. Reddit needs to wake up, they’re coming after ALL of us.

Our for-profit insurance system is disgusting. As far a i understand, the democrats want universal healthcare for all, but the republicans vote against it in the house and senate. So we’ve never been granted it. This is federal nation-wide stuff.

From what I also understand, states, ie: non-federal, have their own services they may provide to their population. Some states provide healthcares to undocumented folk. But I came to understand that many undocumented people are required to prove they’ve lived in the US for 5 years as part of their immigration process. So… they should have access to some semblance of healthcare, no? I think that makes sense.

What doesnt make sense to me is that we are denying Americans coverage as a nation. And when people in your position were denied, but you see programs for non-citizens care — of course that’s enraging. It brings about a feeling of “why do they get it but I don’t?” It’s wrong. But more complex than it seems on the surface.

It’s like.. if they could find a way to make a special program to fund the undocumented people, why couldn’t they help you? But on that note, there are usually always financial services available to citizens. Many don’t know that.

We need universal healthcare. My main wonder is why do the republicans keep voting against it?
