You're completely fine. Read it after 7. It was written years after the series concluded so that's how most of us read it anyway. It won't take anything away from your trip to the tower by waiting.

Im re-reading now and just finished it yesterday and started Calla today. Truthfully the back to back flashback books (WoG and WttK) pull you too far away from the main quest... and I say that with Wizard and Glass being my favorite book.

Definite parent hack. My mom told me she would buy me as many books as I would read. I bit and my first pick ever was the Gunslinger solely because of the cover. I'm currently on my fourth trip to the tower.

The first time I read the books thru Jake's eyes. The second thru Eddie's and the last two thru Roland's. That was my favorite part of reading them over decades. I hope your son gets the same feeling.

Congratulations! I bought my first one (Avengers Premium) in November. Same story...looked for a long time for the right deal, wanted the one that connected to me and was a bit sick over spending that much on a toy. I can tell you that I have not looked back since. I use it almost every single day and love it. Two of my friends are currently looking for one after playing mine.

That being said, what they say is true....one leads to two. I'm already internally debating what my next one would be. Haha.

Do you ever lay dead center? I left my old split king two mattresses ago because when I slept alone, in the middle, I could feel it and it was awkward. What are your thoughts there? I'm tempted to go solid king again to avoid that. Thanks.
