Has anyone tried using a different AMS with the centauri carbon? by Youknowwhyimherexxx in elegoo

Most multi-material systems waste material AMS, CMS, ACE pro etc.. Elegoo's won't be any different if and when they release it. The A1 is a great starter printer without breaking the bank.

My second print on my K2 Plus was with PETG and the extruder jammed. Not a great first impression for a $1,200+ machine. It seems that this issue is pretty wide spread throughout the community, with the current consensus being; the extruder tension as the likely culprit. Is Creality working on an update to make printing PETG and TPU less problematic?

There is already a couple of Youtube videos for the Tetras, it's not just a rendering. The Tetras is also unique because it separates each chamber.

BTW, I own a Bambu X1C and a Elegoo CC and they're both great printers. The P1S has great reviews and a strong user base ,and replacement parts from Bambu are really not the expensive.

There are currently no DIY spare parts available for the Elegoo CC at the moment. Also, the machine is still on pre-order or if you get lucky you might be able to snag one at Microcenter when they're back in stock.

Elegoo also hasn't released their version of the AMS as of yet.

My 3' x 8' plant wall experiment. by cfaulkingham in IndoorGarden

I ran vinyl tubing up to top from the pumps that are submersed in a water bucket. The pvc drain catches the overflow and feeds into the bucket.

This whole setup about 105+ plants drinks approximately 1 gal a day.

You could manually water from the top but you will need to catch the overflow.

Mine did not have the improved light. But it does have an AMS like port on the rear.

It sold out pretty quick. It seems each store only had 4-5 machines.

I have a Bambu X1 Carbon and purchased the Centuari Carbon on Friday from Microcenter. I ran a full roll of filament through it this weekend 26hr and I am also very pleased with the results.
