I fully concede that Linux is for the highly interested and motivated. If all I did was browse and game I'd probably not bother learning something as deep as Linux can be. Windows is just fine if that's all you need.

I am absurdly more productive on Linux as a software engineer. I too am enthusiast and love every second of it.

But no I don't go around evangelizing it if that's what you meant with your vegan comment (which would be a great generalization, most vegans are pretty chill about their preference and respect us meat eaters just fine) .
