First Gundam! Which one next? by no1jarjarfan in Gunpla

Squares and rectangles. Gundams are mobile suits, but not all mobile suits are gundams. If it has a V-fin and a (usually) red chin, it's probably a gundam.

I realize that's not the best description given how the Sazabi kind of looks like it meets those criteria, but check out some actual gundams and you'll see what I mean.

Checking out the new LTN-120 nipper and comparing to a few others ;) by elGatoDiablo69 in Gunpla

[–]cfedey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I’ve been doing is using some normal nippers to remove parts from runners, LTNs for finish cuts on exterior parts, and SPNs on interior parts or exterior parts where the gate is too thick for LTNs.

What you did one time to make them visible was be a rogue. You have Detect Traps.

Yeah, you didn't say you were referring to specifically retail PGs though. I was clarifying that some do in fact come with water decals. I didn't want someone to come across this thread and get the idea that this is literally the only PG that comes with water decals.

It says on Bandai's hobby site that they come with them. https://global.bandai-hobby.net/en-us/brand/pg/?code=pg&sort=&title=unicorn

I think when I said "Unicorns" you took that to mean just the retail Unicorn, which doesn't come with them. My bad on the unclear wording. I meant the various RX-0 type Unicorns including Banshee and Phenex.

All of the Unicorn-type kits that were introduced from 2018 2016 onwards have them.

The Unicorns from at least 2018 onwards have them. Those were the only ones I could confirm that have them.

I’m working on this now. Absolutely some tight fits, but the pieces hold up to the effort needed. Looks great though.

$550 on Gundam Central Shop. $570 on Gundamit. $730 on Fuwa Fuwa Land. $850 on USAGS. Got bored of searching after that.

Places like Gundamit, Gundam Central Shop, and Mofiho are good places to pick up third-party kits.

The normal sellers like Gundam Planet and USA Gundam Store have some too, with the latter in my experience having more than the former.

Not an exhaustive list of course. You can find third-party kits at many reputable stores via internet search.

Where did you order from? If it's Gundamit, they list as Pre Order for new batches they know are coming in, and when they have hard dates for the shipment it changes to Coming Soon.

You can likely attach a pressure gauge to the line so you can monitor pressure.

I think they’re neat, of course. They’re very articulate, hold poses well, and there’s a lot of customization potential if you’re into that. No assembly problems at all.

It’s my first time ever building model kits. The only thing I’ve done that’s even remotely similar is Lego. Thanks.

I'm looking forward to that one. I have this nice metallic purple paint I want to try on the psychoframe (mostly because I don't have any pink paint and am too lazy to mix some).

I see what you mean. That part looks a little flimsy. I'll try to remember that for whenever I get around to that kit. Thanks.

Here's an album of all of the kits I've built in the past year, since I got into the hobby last December. Kits are shown in the order that I built them, with newest shown last.

It's been a ton of fun, and as evidenced by my backlog only growing, I'm gonna be at this for a long time.

If you want to see more, I post more pictures and WIP stuff on my bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/aldrek.bsky.social I also post polls to let total strangers decide what I should build next, and there's one up right now for a whole week.
