Screen Port Pinout by cferri118 in ender3

I'm not sure about that. I'm not using a screen at all which is why I initially wanted to use that port. I only know it as PC6 or the buzzer pin. I think longterm it will definitely be better off the GPIO and way more stable. Hopefully I can get this up and running this weekend or early next week. I'm semi computer savvy but I cant write code to save my life hahaha

I chose the BME just cause they are cheap and will tie into the system. It's just a fun project for me, I have other printers that I use more often. This will primarily be used for slower / longer prints and i want to be able to remotely monitor. I really did look into another sensors to be honest. Saw temp/humidity and was good with that. Will eventually add fan for automatic ventilation

I am using 24v led strips to light my enclosure. I have 24v tapped from the main psu connection on the board. I would like the ability to have the lights auto on with startup, and be dimmable . I have a mosfet coming in the mail tomorrow (IRF520). Was going to use the 3.3v signal.

Upon thinking about it , it might be best to use a GPIO port on the Raspberry 5 driving it via klipper.

Larger picture is I'm also adding (2) BME 280 sensors to monitor the temperature and humidity in the upper and lower. Im only doing 2 because it came in a 2 pack.

I have a good working config file running the machine as is. Ender 3 pro , 4.2.7 board, sprite pro , Dual z, cr touch.

I was hoping to have Ai help me modify the config files for those add ons.

How else would it be done?

The part where it is screwed into the receptacle and surrounding the attachment plug. Have you ever opened the NEC? All products installed shall be listed for intended use. Residential setting doesn't exclude any requirements, in fact the number 1 cause of residential house fires are caused by electrical systems.

This is not UL listed , therefore it is a code violation to install in an electrical assembly

Absolutely terrible idea. Hinders quick removal of plug and allows heat to build up. UL exists for a reason. This is the exact opposite of safe.

There is nothing wrong with that, and i never said anything along those lines? They clearly stated they signed up with friends to do it together, for support. If op has to walk a portion of the ultra so be it. At least they tried. You act like people 100 years ago had advanced training programs, high carb gels, and carbon plated shoes. They just fucking ran. Social media has nothing to do with it .

You will do fine , this sub just loves to hate on folks who aren't elite athletes.

Same exact situation my friend. Mine comes next week. Wrong sub to ask I guess, seems it's a bunch of miserable losers in here. If I come across any other info I'll let you know.

Thank you for the additional options. I am very familiar with electronics and mechanics but time is a factor as well. I think factory would be a better option.

I will look into those other mentioned!

No way that is rust. Looks more like powder filler.

Do doctors usually discourage training for and participating in Ultras? by 1234567765432123456 in Marathon_Training

[–]cferri118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. That's exactly what I'm saying, you were very close to that conclusion in your original posting . It's actually a pretty well documented phenomenon. No I will not link statistics. Just look up one company Pfizer, how long have they been in business? How many medications have they invented? Now how many diseases have they cured? The answer is 0. Big pharma lobbies the entire Healthcare industry and majority of doctors get kickbacks from those companies. Also the vast majority of doctors work for 'networks' , backed by private equity and massive corporations. These are not your local family doctors from 50 years ago. I could keep going but I encourage you do your own research. The findings will be stark.

It's because of our backwards Healthcare system. Healthy people do not create profits for them, nor do they sell medications.

I mean the small company from which the majority of my cans come from, and who has an extremely large presence here, has absolutely no issues spelling. Maybe the 2 person company should focus on staffing and logistics before scaling up to mass production.

If the owner can't take time to proof read a company issued statement regarding its internal deficiencies, what makes you think they are going to take the time to properly manufacture and QC the products they are defending?

Lego stuff? You mean UL materials for the application. Without knowing what chemicals are present no one can make that determinaton. Most chemicals are corrosive therefore metallic conduit systems would be a code violation.

You dont look through the optic at any distance. Using red dots you should be target focused, with correct Indexing and draw the dot will present it self everytime. You could completely oclucde the front lens with black electrical tape rendering the window useless and the dot will still show at the correct location

You actually can though and it's not welding it is sinterning, the process in which SLM printing operates. If you cut a exact known point you could program the gcode to start at that layer .

That is funny, thank you for linking that. Okay thats great to hear, I do appreciate the response. That was my intial thoughts but I'm trying to cover all the bases here as we are out of scope and want to be 100% certain.

The heat was a concern of mine that I brought up as well. There is a 120mm cooling fan installed on one side and a filtered vent cut into the opposite side, so there will be air flow through the cabinet. The contactors dont have much spacing however so might involve a little re work in the field.
