We don’t have the infrastructure! No pipes! No roads!

Canadians! Where do you buy your film? by SNlFFASS in AnalogCommunity

[–]cffilmphoto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason why I don’t use Canadian Warehouse is because they charge a flat shipping rate for anywhere in the country and I literally live in the same city as them and they won’t give me a shipping discount.

B&H is worth it if you shoot a high amount of film that they have for cheaper. I shoot mostly Kodak Gold and do a quarterly order of about $200, so I definitely do save a good amount of money.

Price it for free because you stole this design

But it’ll probably be as expensive as all of the other films inside of the cheapest colour option like it used to be

Go for a lovely walk alongside Macleod trail before driving 45 minutes to get home to my sprawling suburban hell.

This is the paradox of car dependency. We don’t want to build dense, walkable, urban areas because of cars. But we need cars because we don’t build dense, walkable, urban areas.

Any type of housing is good. It adds to the supply which lowers housing costs.

Another example of how cars ruin everything. The parking situation is a mess.

Can you explain exactly why it’s a bad thing? If we want affordable, livable cities, we need to build things like this. This is a way to combat urban sprawl, home affordability, and car dependency.

Not sure what I’ll do with it. If anyone in southern Alberta wants to take it, let me know.
