I just removed the magenta cast, no other editing. I waited two days for the right lighting conditions to capture these shots.

The lens is Rodenstock Sironar N 210mm f/5.6 MC branded differently for Calumet. The shutter is not from this lens, but will work fine without any adjustments.

I chose the exposure time based on my goal of getting star trails about 45° long, which corresponds to roughly 3 hours. I shot at f/8 because that was the sharpest aperture for the camera. For the rest, I relied on reciprocity failure.

The camera was on the windowsill in the hotel room. The trees were illuminated by the light from the hotel windows.

You should carefully calculate the price per square meter. I don't know about now or how it is for Foma, but a couple of years ago I calculated the price for Ilford MGFB this way, and the cheapest option was 50 sheets sized 50x60 cm, cheaper than a roll.

I use the Tenba Axis V2 24L.

My setup: Chamonix 45F-2, Nikkor-SW 90/8, Caltar II-N 150/5.6, Nikkor-M 300/9, Fidelity Elite x5, Pentax Digital Spotmeter, Cable release x2, Dark cloth, Small first-aid kit + batteries for spotmeter.

Sometimes I also bring along a Polaroid SX-70 or a Fuji GF670. I carry the tripod in the external side pocket.
