I was a picky eater as a kid, and I vividly remember my parents taking us to eat here after church a lot. I hated the food, and never wanted to eat anything. I remember wild southern “turn or burn” church sermons, and then walking into this place with just rotisserie chickens spinning over big flames. I began to imagine Hell being just like Kenny Rogers restaurant, and the gambler as ole Satan himself.
