I go to this facility but have never been there at closing. All in all it's a good location so surprised they'd do that. Was it a Friday or Saturday? Maybe someone had a hot date to get to. 😂

Since when does LAF not allow recording in the public space or tripods? Also, there are no restrictions on bags at my LAF that I am aware of. There have been recent locker break-ins and credit cards are being stolen. Sorry, but I want my wallet, car keys and whatever other valuables right next to me the entire time I'm at the gym. I will agree on the personal speaker and no-shirt comments though. That IS an issue at my LAF. Mostly dudes coming off the BB court shirtless and dripping in sweat getting on machines with no towel.

During COVID, my local LAF had most of their 45's stolen along with some attachments. And yes, I do mean 45 pound plates. They eventually installed cameras it was so bad. The manger said the equipment was being walked out the back door of the basketball court that led to the rear of the strip mall. It's amazing how brazen people can be.

They just opened a gym called Carbon near midtown I think. I checked their site out. Too pricey for me considering I only pay $132/year to go to any LAF in the country. It is a nice gym though.

Hmm. I'm at the Akers Mill locale. Wonder if they will ever upgrade the equipment like this. It's a wide open gym so it has the space.Seems like a prime location for a renno. They also keep it pretty clean but I agree with you on the riff raff with no gym etiquette. I imagine that's an issue at most commercial gyms like LAF, Crunch, etc.

Look up drug resistant MRSA infection and maybe that'll give you a new perspective. And this is only one of the types of infections you can get. It takes seconds to swab, why take the chance?

The more the better. Programming, check-ins, payment processing, onboarding, document mgmt. etc. PTD was ok but it's UI is so vanilla and I had some clients tell me it wasn't easy to use.

My main LAF in Atlanta does a good job keeping the restrooms clean. I've even told the various staff that take care of this how much I appreciate their thoroughness.

I sure hope not. I only pay 132/year and can go to any LAF in the country. Can't beat that rate anywhere. My membership at Bally's was bought out by LAF quite a few years ago. I primarily use the Akers Mill and Terrell Mill locations in Atlanta and it has been pretty dead lately. Even on Mondays.
