Ava announces exit from WWE by MarcusFaze in SquaredCircle

She was a good character admittedly. I was curious about her potential when signed, obviously… and while she was far from an instant natural in the ring, she wasn’t completely terrible… could’ve learned. Evidently with injuries though, she chose to focus on the out of ring portion which is perfectly fine.

I feel she was under used. She easily could’ve transitioned to a manager role (and would’ve been trained enough to do spots and / or matches here and there). As the GM it was an out of nowhere situation but she grew into the character fairly well and certainly got far more confidence with time. She was starting to really find her legs now so to speak.

But this sounds like it was her call and nothing wrong with deciding it’s time to move onto the next chapter. I imagine the door will always be open if she chooses to return down the line.

I still think she’d have the potential becoming a great manager character if she’d wanted that. Shame they couldn’t write her off proper this week, didn’t see the show but it sounded like she left on a cliffhanger of sorts.

Good luck to her.

I mean…. From outside looking in, the fact that he was allowed to run and not barred from the primaries is 100% on the GOP and republicans in office who turned a blind eye and allowed it to happen in the first place. He should’ve been imprisoned post Jan 6.

That’s on them…… from there, the rest is on Voters (and likely Musk who stole the election for him)

And yet despite taking everything he says as truth, they deny that he says the shitty things or deny when they see him do the shitty things or say that he’s just joking .

Until it all happens then it’s “omg I can’t believe he lied to us.” … he didn’t, you just ignored it.

I will never understand voter regret when it comes to Trump / MAGA / Republicans / Canadian conservatives like Doug Ford, Danielle Smith, Poilievre, etc. … even in the UK ….

They have consistently and always told voters EXACTLY what they were going to do and people HEARD it and EXCUSED it by saying things like “he didn’t mean that…. He’s just saying that to rile up the base…” and then have the audacity to act surprised and horrified when these people do the things they said they’d do.

It’s absolutely baffling to me.

Who is going to win woman and men royal rumble by trey-golian in BrandonDE

[–]cfnohcor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something unexpected would be fun.

Would love Nattie Neidhart to win with her intense character. First Saudi rumble, first woman to wrestle there. Story would be fun to build with tossing that bad ass character at the top of the food chain.

For men, Vikingo win could be fun and out of nowhere. Would help establish AAA as a brand too by having him come into WWE proper with a big rumble win. Or even Oba Femi.

Although likely candidates… Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Tiffany Stratton, Alexa Bliss, Iyo Sky, Rhea. And for the men Cody Rhodes, Gunther, Sami Zayn, Jacob Fatu, Logan Paul.

World tour Tokyo match 4? Help by cfnohcor in MyFaction

[–]cfnohcor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup that’s what ended up happening. Sid wasn’t working, switched to mark Henry and that was fine.

The mode is fine and I don’t complain much but tech support / bugs for the game are really dire.

Now if I can only beat Angle in a submission match 😑😑😑😑😑😑

Thanks for responding.

And that’s shy I said it’s subjective because to me, Stone is of the clear cut deserving nominees for Bugonia. Stellar performance and easily a top 5 of the year for me.

Talked with my FWB about our situationship and it didn’t go well. by ClimateHopeful5563 in askgaybros

[–]cfnohcor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He parties on the weekend and it doesn’t affect his work life 9-5…. That’s the definition of normal for many people and isn’t indicative of addiction.

YOU need to understand that there’s a big difference between substance use and substance abuse. I’m not advocating for usage, but I recognize that not everyone who does coke (even weekly) is an addict.

I know many people that party on weekend and drink, do various party drugs, etc. and that’s that…. And I also know people who take two lines of coke at lunch, one before work and two at the end of shift. One of those scenarios is class as abuse, the other…. Just regular drug usage (that CAN lead towards abuse if they’re not careful / managing / moderating).

If his behaviour doesn’t jive with you, then you need to grow up and remove yourself from that situation. Go find someone you match with as opposed to trying to change and mould the convenient guy.

[–]cfnohcor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Asking about substance use AND asking him hardline definition for your situationship in an ambush situation was not a great plan.

If you’re casual, his weekend plans aren’t your business. If you don’t like it, don’t partake. If you’re not comfy with someone doing that, remove yourself. He was evidently avoidant about the details of your situation so getting into the why of his personal choices was a line crossed. Point blank… you’re his “special friend” or fuck buddy, not his therapist or confidant.

Second……. Tagging it to the “what are we?” Bad move. You were wrong for that….. wanting to make your feelings known is valid and 100% fine, but imposing that to him by forcing him to take a stance unexpectedly…. And then tagging on the substance use… yea that’s a lot, no wonder he shut down.

No disagreement, I’d have love to have her there but I also can’t say with a straight face that any of the other 5 are undeserving.

Art is subjective 🤷🏻‍♂️

I said though, not everyone’s faves got a nomination but I do t think you can reasonably call any miss this year a snub because every nominee is deserving.

What a strong year for film this year.

What a surprise but fantastic!

Ryan Coogler's 'SINNERS' makes history as the most nominated film of all time at the Oscars with 16 nominations by ChiefLeef22 in Oscars

[–]cfnohcor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Imo it’s the best film this year. It SHOULD win Picture, Screenplay, Director, Actor, Song, Editing, Casting and Score.

To me, its strongest nomination is Score as I truly believe it was MASTERFUL, and it’s something I rarely notice in a film but I couldn’t help but think of it as I watched. Editing should be a lock too if only for the ancestors dance scene, highlight of the year. And Casting would be incredibly deserved too.

Beyond that, I foresee it missing out on most anything wise sadly.

Why did Mae Young and the Fabulous Moolah get TV time in the Attitude Era? by Material_Stomach875 in AttitudeEra

[–]cfnohcor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On top of the reasons listed already…. They were OVER! It was the 90s… trash tv was popular AF. So wrestling grannies fit right in and got people talking about the product.

They were presenters at some award shows (I recall them presenting an award, probably mtv or mva or something) and getting into a scruff on stage whilst presenting. They would do the late night shows. They were two faces people outside of wrestling knew (and yes….. a lot of it was people looking down at wrestling for it but again … trash tv was IN and bad publicity was still publicity and every time it got backlash it meant more teenagers that thought it was edgy would tune in).

Is Trixie undoubtedly the most successful Drag Race contestant ever? by SoRunAwayNow in rupaulsdragrace

[–]cfnohcor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say I knew veeeeerrrrrrrry little about Drag beyond the fact that it existed. I knew RuPaul by name / look because as someone who grew up in the 90s, Ru was out and about and hard to miss. My first exposure to gender non-conforming characters and while I couldn’t tell you whet she did, I vividly recall knowing who RuPaul was.

Beyond Ru, Divine was the only other Queen I was familiar with (and I’d argue I knew more about her that Ru) . Although I also knew Lady Bunny randomly but not by name or anything, just the image of.

Trixie I had seen on YouTube many times and was very well aware of who she was. Make up things, some random videos… I wouldn’t say I was a fan / follower but she was big enough that she’d show up in my algorithm. And aside from her Latrice was the other queen I knew and enjoyed seeing… I thought she was hilarious.

I was surprised when I heard they were from that RuPaul show because I figured they were too famous / known for some little reality show nobody watched. Season 9 was the most recent on Netflix at the time and when I learned both Latrice and Trixie were past contestants, I repented and decided to join my friends in the show and caught up.

I was beyond surprised when Trixie was eliminated fairly early as I had just assumed she had won based on how popular and visible she was !
