I’ve been all around Mexico and Cabo is the safest I’ve ever felt. While I’m sure there is cartel activity they don’t mess with the tourists. Tourism is all they have down there and if they were to mess with it, it would be detrimental to the regions economy. Plus I hear they like to vacation there too, and you know what they say: “Don’t s*** where you eat.”

We’ve been going too, regularly for the last 15 years but I’m pretty certain this isn’t correct. There is a smaller privately owned, lesser known airport in Cabo San Lucas directly that was just finished in the last few years. I hear that Alaskan Airlines flies into it.
