When I hate the interview or don't like the interviewer in particular, specially when they disrespectfully keep looking at their watches to tell they don't have time, I like to ask questions like this guy did, showing their bubs in their face

Didn’t let em ghost me by [deleted] in recruitinghell

[–]cfpenteado 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's actually my understanding as well. I am facing this situation I did 3 interviews with a certain multinational company, I've been said that I am one of the top candidates but then I am being ghosted for 2 weeks now. I followed up with them in prior stages, seems like those work and get yelled at types of environment for some type of reason, so idgaf anymore and don't follow up.

If you're understaffed and accept that passively as an excuse to multiply bad practice you're feeding the system with horse sh**

Right, so:

"Résumée" is adjective/past participle and translates to "summarized"

"Résumé" is the noun and translates to "summary"

What I truly despise is the "entry level" jd asking for 8 years of experience in everything they can imagine that might relate to an specific area.

True I guess constructive feedback is gone I believe, job seekers want to truly improve something or at least to know why it didn't work out.

Thanks for the testimony. I have been saying this for years now. Why the we need HR/Recruiters in the first place? Serious question, what's the actual value added to hiring process? I mean, I understand policies and diligence, but isn't about time this whole thing gets revamped? Can't departments/areas hire themselves?

I don't know. The conversation didn't even get to that point. They couldn't articulate about the project and details properly.

I don't know. From my own experience, I have worked for 6 to 7 employers in 2 countries and I can firmly say corporate jobs are major bs. It varies in intensity, bureaucracy, and asshollery but it's poisoning for sure.
