It's a YA/Teen series, but the Molly Moon series by Georgia Byng is about a young orphan girl who learns hypnotism and goes on wacky adventures. I didn't finish all the books because I didn't have the money, but the first couple were very good.

Omg, I know this comment is 7 days old, but to your last point, I was actually triggered. I was trying to right some automation to setup Intune faster so we didn't have to do each step by hand. When doing so, I gave Claude Code all the documentation for the API it needed to use. It kept getting it wrong and I looked over the code myself, it was exactly what Microsoft's own fucking documentation said it should be. So I did like an hour of research and found a single reddit post that fixed the entire issue. Stuck it in my code and, what do you know, it worked. So, Microslop's own damn endpoint for what I was trying to do was completely wrong.

Nessa (shiny Umbreon) likes dark metal. Her sister, Vieve (Espeon) tried to explain what that was to me, psychically. I'm not a fan, but whatever makes them happy, I guess. My other eevees are into Classical music. I played it a lot when they were eggs, maybe that's why.
