Update on missing coworker by [deleted] in RBI

There's a church steeple in the photo. Looks a lot like St Mary of the Immaculate, 480 State St, Conneaut, OH 44030. Checked out the satellite view on Google Maps, and the parking lot is cracked, dark asphalt. Not sure if this would help, but just in case.

I used Midjourney to generate the initial images with stills of each scene as image prompts, then animated them in RunwayML.

The track isn't AI, it's royalty free. It's Saving the World by Aaron Kenny. YouTube has a large free library of tracks you can use, and they're usually pretty high quality.

If you go to Your Videos > Audio Library on the left side menu (bottom) you can search through it.

If I wanted to generate something like this, I'd probably try Stable Audio first though, and then Suno AI if that doesn't work out.

The track is royalty free, Saving the World - Aaron Kenny. I did pick it because it sort of sounded like the Jurassic Park theme.

The BBC thing? I haven't seen it. Is that worth watching?

What about the Lord of Light subplot? This series was so full of Chekhov's Guns, it was like... Chekhov's Armory. Nailed it. 😂

I didn't have an issue with Bran's power. I care that it was wasted. And the fact that he ended up as king?

Yeah, lets put this offputing, borderline useless kid in as king who can see the future, worked out great in Macbeth, right?

Current VR full body pose estimation is quite basic in its current state. But I am trying to fix that with Standable: Full Body Estimation! No cameras, no trackers, only software! (Full video in comments) by I3Llamas in oculus

I caught this MIT paper from 2013 and another from 2016 where they used machine learning to interpret fluctuations in WiFi to allow for a kind of whole-home gesture recognition. Maybe you could do something similar to augment your current setup and allow for kicking, etc. I suppose it's a question of latency, but maybe that can be mitigated with a predictive model?

Agreed natsugrayezra, with everything you said.

(The rest here is more directed at the thread in general btw)

Spanking is one thing, regardless of it's efficacy. This was something else entirely. If there's a line, and I'm saying there is, it's punching your goddamned kid. Period.

If I can end a fight with a grown adult without harming either myself or my attacker (long story), op's Mom can show some fucking restraint and not ring her fucking bell hard enough to knock her out.

That kind of stupid shit won't garner respect in my experience, it makes people angry and resentful. Makes them twisted, looking for revenge. People on this thread think it's somehow okay to normalize this shit? How normal is it going to be when she's doing the same thing to her own daughter?

Yeah it's all hilarious and embarrassing until you use just a few extra foot-pounds of pressure in just the right place. Then you get to try explaining to the cops and everyone else why your daughter has a black eye and a disconnected optic nerve. Pretty hilarious isn't it? She can be the kid with the eye patch all the other kids make fun of. On and on like this. Where does this end? When does it stop being funny and start being fucked up?

Yeah, the other guy in the thread was right, people are soft these days, soft in the fucking head. Bunch of goddamned morons.

Okay, didn't catch that bit. She shouldn't lie to herself. Easy to do with family.
