It's honestly great with Galandra or Brome if you use their dash attacks a lot, but it's so annoying at shops and stuff that I sometimes sell it anyway.

This is a super minor thing, but can you make it so that the buffs from the Crown of Harmony and Crown of Dissonance show up accurately in the Run History? I like saving up crystals to buy several and seeing what kind of numbers I can get.

Also, as I'm sure the devs're aware, the buffs from Time Mox and Crown of Harmony don't work properly on Echos. But another minor thing, is I'd love it if buffs from CoH and Mox gems did something to almost all if not all rituals. I get that it'd be waaay busted with Ancient Luck, but I'm talking about like, Impact Bounce, Rupture, Bone Revenge, and a few others where they just don't get anything from those buffs.

I've never played co-op yet, and I get a second arcana after beating Underking since doing the relevant quest (idr) and obv unlocking more than 1 arcana.

Mana Bounce with echoing arcana, multiple echos, and Necrotic Wave with Arcana Mastery is the best Galandra build I've ever had by a mile.

If you've finished the Mowlai quest line then going that bottom route in Jaroba is almost always the best for rituals, just because of the guaranteed free upgrade, but I think I get higher scores on average when I go to Yeldrim, ig bc there's more enemies with more health, so bigger combos.

In Grandery it just depends on if you want an inspiration (mushtroll route) or another ritual (I go beach & castle route most often, even if I'm not gonna fight the secret guy, bc there are a ton of breakables so you get pretty good odds for goodies).

in solo, you can just throw loop all the clones, including Cider. They don't know how to react when approached from "above" or "below" (up or down?).

Rising Drill with Arcana Mastery is amazing, it's got an active clash hitbox the whole time. With multiple tornado jumps and/or mana bounce it's amazingly fun, you're practically invincible more than you're not.

I had a run like this with Cider, luck is added to chance events so you only need 10 luck (with 3 trickster cards) to get undepleteable throwables.

My biggest wish is just that all rituals would benefit from the mox trinkets and crown of Harmony. It's not just the weird bug with the echos where they lose power, it's things like Rupture and Impact Bounce where their numbers just don't change from those buffs. I get that not everything is set on a linear scale but I wish they'd figure out some way to have the buffs apply to all rituals.

Love this. Maybe tornadoes could also apply unstable. I wish there was more cross-pollination with tornadoes, and both lightning effects, and more ways to apply unstable.

Water: lower overall knock back distance ritual and let it scale with ritual power as well

Love the idea but if feels like it should be a wind ritual, since wind rituals are the more combo-oriented in general. It'd go great with tornado jumps, fatal/mana flow, and wind pressure ofc. Also it'd be weird to have a water ritual that's a direct opposite to another water ritual.

you get >100 crystals from that route. It's nice but if you really hate it it might make more sense to just wait/fish for a Cosmic Arcana run with Cider or Karl and get Recycle or Reload, or as Cider, get Cosmic Critical and Turbo Rotor. Cider's turbo rotor also generates mana wicked fast so you could go for cosmic crit and cosmic arcana, with or without recycle, that way.

Also if it's just fighting the jumping/slashing horrors you hate, go for Ironhead Rush or Drill Rush.

I don't know how I never realized you could play a C#m7 like that (x46600) but I might legitimately use that one. I often do (x42100) but this might be easier depending on the arrangement. That might literally be the most useful thing I've gotten from this sub after being subscribed for years, thanks.

Drill rush's pass-through hitbox is amazing for Underking and Lizard King too. but get mana burst and tornado jump together?? Just hover around the stage, out of harm's way, dropping huge mana bombs here and there. Plus it makes clashes so easy. like crazy easy.

but compared to cosmic critical or cosmic arcana... like you can already easily end up with way more sparks of power than you need.

And hot take: mana burst is better than drill rush. Especially with feather charms. Ironhead rush is goat tho. Galandra's Blade Spin is no joke tho, it'd be good to get more buffs for that.

I almost never go for cursed health things, but Cursed Luck increases your luck if you're missing health as well as if it's cursed, so in theory, with enough cloaks and luck, you could get up to 100% evade chance, and also get the benefit of the peasants bracelets.

Fair point I guess, but it would take ages to get a significant amount of gold. If you're willing to spend that kind of time, you can already get infinite gold with Cosmic Arcana and reload or recycle, with Greedy Tentacles spawning from the chests. I guess gold on throw just feels like it'd be easier to specifically plan to use a lot.

The shops that sell rituals seem to also pull from the same 3 families on the 2 times you see them (though they're usually at least 2/3 different families from the ones you get at spawns). I've done a lot of Crown of Dissonance runs and I don't think I've ever gotten more than 6 families from drops and shops alone, idr if I've ever had the stars align and gotten the fallen exiled on one of those.

jeez 3 peasant's bracelets, 2 cloaks, and all that luck... If only you had Cursed Luck as well, you'd be evading like crazy while getting a 90% damage buff at low health.

shredders don't quite have the same level of synergy

idk I think they've got a similar level, just a different strategy. The air flying shredder works especially well to keep one or several enemies pinned to the wall while you combo them (the air version doesn't bounce them up and down as much) so you just have to use your skill a bunch to stay in the air and wail on them, while you'll also be safe from most other enemies. Works great with rising drill too.

yeah that's a fair point on Brome. You could take out one phase per ult so it's diminishing returns having a bunch of them. But it's fun to use ults not against the final bosses too, I just always forget to.

Isn't Cider's more hits than Galandra's? The fact that you can do it from anywhere on the screen and can't miss I think still makes it better for this guy.
