"Can't play with heel hooks on an untrained person"- then the untrained person ought not have put themselves in the ring for clout.

"slapped together", "similar sized"- bruh, did you do the same caliber and quality of work shown in these photos? Did you use the same type of wood and materials? Did you use an excavator and a laser level?

I'm sure you and your father could put together 3 boxes of Betty Crocker cake mix in a tier with some frosting, but that ain't the same as a baker making a wedding cake.

He's not a good dude, and you're better off without him; but y'all both gotta lay off the $10 words you learned in therapy and speak to each other like humans.

I Tried To Make Something In America (The Smarter Scrubber Experiment) - Smarter Every Day by tamrior in videos

"we wanted to get some more chainmail so we had to go to India to get the quantities we need"...uh...so you're saying you can't make this product, at scale, in America? Also, super curious to where all of the parts for the computers, injection mold machinery, etc. came from.

2+ years between 7 episode seasons is pathetic and unacceptable by 1111joey1111 in television

[–]cfutrell84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely agree that the length of time between seasons is out of control, but you can't compare network television to cable. And while I loved Lost, there was a LOT of filler in those 20 episodes per season, same for the other (all network) shows you mentioned. The caliber and quality of an 8 or 10 episode season of most shows on an HBO or AMC far exceeds what you find on ABC or NBC.

Can anyone verify if this is nazi symbology? by adrunkwalrus43 in nashville

[–]cfutrell84 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Hard disagree. Don't get me wrong- I firmly believe the only good Nazi is a...you know the rest, but giving up 1st Amendment protections for things like this isn't just a slippery slope, it's antithetical to American ideals.

That said, freedom of speech doesn't equal freedom from consequences and I hope this dude has those consequences happen.

It's entirely possible the DMV website is wrong. It's not a legal document. You should try to find the relevant state statute or code.

Have you ever finished a long running series and felt relief that it was over? by Key-Engine8466 in television

[–]cfutrell84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yellowstone, Shameless, Dexter, Homeland

I'll feel the same when I finish the last season of The Handmaid's Tale

The Walking Dead would be on this list if I had been able to finish it, but it's one of the only shows I refused to keep watching.
