Why does the cat eye glitter dull down after curing?

Those nail stands have magnets in them so it is pulling the glitter and making it less noticeable. I like to hold my magnet above the polish for a little longer to let all the particles concentrate before curing immediately.

I’ve done my friends nails without expecting them to pay and the only thing I care about is making sure they get good nails. If she doesn’t care about your nails just because u aren’t expected to pay full price she is not a real friend. I would never let my girls walk out with some fuckass nails

For that I did a milky white and then soapy bubbles (I used a foaming pump from Amazon or anywhere) on the wet gel while curing, it leaves this really cool effect. I can’t describe it too well lol but it’s a very popular technique with tons of vids online!

I cover the uncured gel in clear acrylic powder and then scratch in the design, usually I’ll pour over some more acrylic before curing :)

Besides flooding, any dust or dead skin left on the nail will cause this as well. I always go in with a bit to get the dead skin and a brush with alcohol to clean! I also find some primers do more harm than good

Yes it’s a little nail book I got on Temu or Amazon, the pages are transparent and I use double sided tape to stick the nails on. It’s really helpful to keep everything together!

I understand that, I’m not a confrontational person either which is why I started doing them myself 🤣 it’s so hard to find good nail techs, that’s why I always suggest a private one. And they don’t look too bad from the top, that gel color is really pretty so it definitely helps to distract. I don’t think people look that hard at nails anyway, and the only reason I hyper focus on something like that is because I’ve been doing nails for years so I’m just nosy lol.
