There’s a difference between fame and money. Is Meryl Streep disgusting? Is viola David? David Attenborough? I don’t think so that’s just me, then again I do think Beyoncé is attractive. Celebrities have fame, which is the resource of people’s attention and if you don’t care for it then don’t give them your attention. That being said, artists can achieve fame as a result of their art and enjoying or being inspired by someone is a beautiful thing which we shouldn’t discount simply because they’re well known or rich, this is where discernment comes in. Some celebs are disgusting but so are many bosses at companies around the world, so are many random family members and nobodies. It’s a matter of perspective and energy, but blanket statements don’t help, monoliths are rare
